OECCAMERA (ebay merchant)

Never buy anything from this ebay merchant (oeccamera). I inquired this merchant about an item they sell. Here is the response that they sent me:

"Do you have a receommendation of a head that you are selling for my DUAL purpose?

I really do not make recommendations. I am a high volume discount seller, not a salesman.

Regards, John."

Follow up message from oeccamera/John:

"Merry to you too pal. I have blocked you as a bidder. I hope your life turns out to be as nice as you are.

John."

The above is in response to a trade inquiry - even before I order one of the products touted by these idiots! Can you imagine what they would say after you buy one of their products?

Obviously, they don't get it! They are not selling rare uranium or Britney Spear's under garments. There are a million other merchants eager and willing to sell.

Moral of the story - never buy anything from Oeccamera on ebay!

You are an extremely wise consumer..

You contacted this merchant for helf and all you got was a smart *** response...This outfit is not worthy of your funds nor from any member of RR...

Their business must be so good that they can afford to insult potential customers...

I always advice consumers to do what you did; contacting a business first before ordering..Doing so may have save you, Losgn, a lot of trouble..

There are simply to many fine companies to do business with than having to deal with misfits..

Feedback stats show that in the last year they received; 13501 positives, 26 neutrals, and 5 negatives as feedback. Ebay feedback is rather simplistic, but that record seems pretty impressive too me.

Are there some parts missing?
The first response to you seems direct, straight forward and even ends with, "Regards John." The second response (which you say is a follow-up) says, "Merry to you too pal." which implies that something is missing since you didn't say "Merry" (as in Merry Christmas for example) anywhere in your post.

I'm going to have to agree with the mod on this one, I immediately saw this and knew there was information left out. Besides...why are you asking an ebay seller for recommendations?

Methinks our beloved consumer was condescending and abusive to our merchant. He knows this and is unwilling to show it. I'll always make my own decisions about ebay sellers based on percentages. It's not hard to see the overall quality from feedback and even rough periods they went through. I also recommend (as in this case) taking a look at the feedback of the guy complaining as well as his dealings with others.
