STAY AWAY FROM THIS MERCHANT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF OR TREATED INFERIORLY!
I called in to order since I want to tell them that I don't like being called back asking to buy additional accessories. I have no time listening when they call me back. What is the point of calling back? When customers don't want anything else. There is no way to force them!
To be honest, I couldn't believe that I had to battle for what I needed because the sale man (Tom at extention #268) tried to sell me so many other things. As a customer, I should have the privilledge to place what I want without fighting. Unfortunately, I had to since I was pushed. I was nice enough to buy protection plan at a discount price for the Samsung 52in LCD TV. However, I called back later to remove the warranty, but still keep the TV. Tom even got mad with me when I refused to buy the protection plan. Excuse me! I have my right to buy what I need. You guys are just sale men and a merchant. I ended up asking him to cancel my order and immediately, Tom hang up the phone. What an unprofessional way of treating customer.
Another experience is with David (extention #203). I should call him a really really BAD and DISHONEST guy. After canceling my order with TOM and filed a complaint. David called apologizing me and offered me a better deal with is upgradding from basic free shipping to white-glove shipping. With his sincerety, I accepted the offer. He told me it would be shipped out next day which was Friday and gave me a tracking number with ICAT Logistics (
ICAT Logistics Inc.)
Today is Tuesday (4 days later). I contact ICAT Logistics shipping company. They said that they have received nothing. There was no TV. Nothing has been realeased.
I called Abe's of Maine and they told me it is not yet shipped. What a LIAR. Last week they told me it was shipped and gave me a tracking number. Now, it has not been shipped. Well, I have no idea when it will be shipped and I have waited 4 days already. I asked to cancel my order. There was another debate/argument to have everything done. What a shame! I guess I would not have to raise my voice if they knew how to treat their customers and realize how to attract and have more customers with sincere and reputable service. Abe's of Maine just lack these skills. When I become their supervisor, I will have them trained with professionals to be better salemen/salewomen with different worshops.
Anyway, I have called my credit card bank and already filed a dispute. The bank will send me a form, I complete it. Return it. And the bank with their own personnels will work out with Abe's of Maine.
I already called ICAT logistics to stop my package because even if they bring the package to my place. I will refuse and make them to bring back to Abe's of Maine. I think I am merciful enough in doing this. Otherwise, ICAT Logistics (an innocent shipping company) have to waste their time. ICAT Logistics said they would inform Abe's of Maine this matter.
Right now I will see in the next couple days if Abe's of Maine credit back what they charge. According to Chase bank, any return credit will go back to Chase even if I want to cancel this card. I probably will do this to prevent any charge in the future from Abe's of Maine.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS MERCHANT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF OR TREATED INFERIORLY! THEY ALSO WILL CHARGE YOU $300 IF YOU ARE SLOW IN CANCELLING YOUR ORDER BEFORE IT IS SHIPPED AND YOU REFUSE. THE TRICK IS THEY RARELY PICKUP THEIR PHONE AND ONLY GIVE YOU HARD TIME IN CANCELLING.
The best way is to order somewhere else (J&R, B&H, OneCall, ABT...)
