Holding Off Deals (Black Friday) - Good Idea/Bad Idea

Several of my friends are holding off until after-Christmas, hoping for blowout deals. If the 25% decrease figure is accurate, they might get them.

Now that I've upgraded from a 27" CRT to one of the best 52" HDTV's in my living room, that Megatron 19" CRT in the bedroom looks sooooo bad. I'm joining my friends; I want a name-brand 32" 720p with average features at a bargain basement price.

Frostbite mentioned about everything being down on NBC news, then I ran into something on ABC news about how this whole waiting for a deal is a very bad thing for the economy, because if one person wait, everyone waits, and soon prices will keep dropping and companies won't be able to pay workers.

I find it ironic that inflation and a HUGE economic class gap just before the recession was never an issue, people buying up houses, gas prices going up, this never raised a red flag, yet this is? Sounds like to me it's news propaganda for these huge companies.

I'm still waiting for my 24" lcd, dell has a 22 inch with all the nice connections for $174... hmmm sounds tempting to me. But I wonder what the end of the year will bring... ::evil laugh::
