I bought a gaming pc from Cyberpower PC through Newegg.com and was impressed with the quality of the customer service Newegg has. Unfortunately, the pc that I bought from Cyberpower PC did not work when it arrived. I do not know if it is was bad to begin with or got damaged in shipping but the thing was dead. I am now in the process of getting a refund for the thing.
I am considering using newegg.com again and I still want a gaming pc. My question is if anyone else has had a positive experience buying a pc online and if so from what company? I am not opposed to using Newegg again but will not buy a Cyberpower pc product.
I always build my own desktop computers, so Newegg is the main choice for me to shop components. But if you like Newegg and want an already assembled computer, ABS Computer Technologies - The ULTIMATE in Gaming Desktops, Gaming Notebooks, and PC gaming! is the retail arm of Newegg and they sell complete computer systems. I've personally never bought anything from ABS, but they have the same parent company as newegg.
There are some boutique builders that have excellent reputations, Maingear PC, Digital Storm PC, and KC Computers. My next PC ( in the spring) will be from one of these three.
IBUYPOWER doesn't have that great a reputation, almost a carbon copy of Cyberpower.
If you want top quality and money is no object,Puget Computers is the place.
If you're on a budget,AVAdirect or MaxForce PC are good choices.
I'm very picky when it comes to PC builders,if they dip below a 9,I give them a pass, especially when their lifetime rating is so low.And I've heard a lot of complaints about them in many forums.
