Newegg.com Customer Service is Awesome! Best place to buy electronics!

I just want to let everyone know how eggcellent Newegg.com is as an online retailer. They have a huge inventory of items and their process from order to the time the item reaches your door is the best experience I've had with an online retailer. Newegg.com CUSTOMER SERVICE is one of the huge draws that keeps me doing business with them. If you are looking for a site online to purchase your electronic goodies from, I would highly recommend shopping at Newegg.com. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed. What are you waiting for...go go go

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to disagree with you. I ordered a computer game from them (Civilization IV:Colonization - BTW, don't get this if you are a veteran of the old 1994 version, you'll be disappointed) and was told both verbally and in a received email of the order that it would be 3-5 days for delivery. WHAT A CROCK!! Newegg has decided to hitch it's wagon to DHL - big mistake!!! DHL is a bit of a sly one in that they handed my parcel off to the USPS and it took another 5 days for THEM to play around with it. Of course, when I called Newegg, they just wanted to get rid of me by telling me to call DHL, and DHL just wanted to get rid of me by telling me it was handed off to the USPS and that I had to call them. Now, Newegg gets no more business from me for choosing slick and shady delivery companies.

That's odd Fuerza, I don't see DHL as a shipping option. Only FedEx, UPS and "Egg Saver" which is USPS first class or parcel post and takes anywhere from 3 to 7 days.

Newegg's shipping, from their FAQ's.

They (Newegg) also use AIT for large bulk items. As already pointed out by AR, DHL does not appear to be a shipping option with Newegg. They may have used DHL for bulk items in the past. But, IMO I don't see Newegg using DHL for a PC game. It would be a unnecessary step and cost in the shipping, just use the USPS directly. FedEX or UPS would be not only faster but more cost efficient for such a small item.

I just ordered a APC battery back-up from them (Newegg) last month and the default shipping was UPS.

Couldn't help but notice that Fuerza has not left a review for Newegg. At least according to his Find all vendor reviews by Fuerza in his Public Profile. Wonder if the post from Fuerza is the one that he could not provide a invoice number for?

EDIT:
I got a laugh out of this review from Fuerza.

Fuerza also didn't leave a review at the site he considers better than Reselleratings.

I wonder if he ever dealt with any vendor that he was actually happy with? I've heard of bad luck, but this goes beyond ridiculous. In one short paragraph he trashes Newegg,DHL,USPS,and the game he bought.Well,at least he's consistent!

It's unfortunate that their is frustration for some that DHL does not appear to be a shipping option at the NewEgg website. Perhaps those individuals could call them and suggest that they update their website to reflect the fact that they use DHL as a possible shipping option. Quite frankly, I don't care which vendor uses whoever to ship the product as long as it arrives as promised. When promises become lies, then the talons come out.

I'm glad I was able to bring a smile to NM's face. His reviews at various other websites have been a source of entertainment for me as well.

Unfortunately, RR gets no more of my active, frontend reviews. Why is that? There is a philosophical difference here as to what constitutes an actual "customer". I just hope no critics here ever go shopping this upcoming holiday season to a department store or discount store and expect to be treated to good customer service. Remember, to be a customer, you first have to plunk down your money, THEN you get good customer service.

And not to worry, we have had plenty of good experiences with outstanding merchants, vendors and stores - just recently with an air purifier company in Chicago, a furniture store in Philadelphia and an organic honey producer in New Alexandria. I am the typical consumer in the sense that you give me superb customer service and I discretely and quietly continue to return to your establishment to give you more of my business and more of my money. If you wrong me or give horrible customer service, I will tell 10 people and my uncle never to shop at your business. This is the nature of commerce, and has been for millennia.

The only philosophical difference here is that RR places value on honesty and truth in their reviews, and takes steps to verify it.You,on the other hand, would give free reign to every troll out there who seeks attention through negativity, false claims, and rumors, every unscrupulous business seeking to discredit their competitors, and anyone with a personal score to settle with a vendor.

And while we're on the subject of honesty and truth, let me just point out that it's totally unethical to place an order for an item you don't intend to keep. That's bad enough when it's a local brick-and-mortar store and you pay gas to bring the item home and back, but online where the store eats shipping? Inexcusable.
