They're good at sending you things, just don't expect a response if you have any problems. Oh, and don't expect them to stick to their terms and conditions either.
My example:
1. Tens machine booked on 12th Nov for delivery on 1st Dec
2. My wife has the baby on 17th Nov
3. I email for a refund on the 17th Nov (well within the 7 day distance selling regulations cooling off period and the cancellation policy as stated in their terms and conditions). No response.
4. 21st Nov - I email again. No response.
5. 5th Dec - Tens machine turns up.
6. 6th Dec - I return by registered post, including print outs of both emails sent and a letter requesting a refund as per their terms and conditions. No response
7. Jan 2010, I send a letter to them by recorded delivery stating that they have 14 days to return my money otherwise I'll take them through small claims.
8. 14 days later... take them through the small claims court.
9. Early Feb 2010 - I get a one line email from them stating that they'll refund my payment by BAC's to my bank account including the court fees. No apology, no signature, just one line. I send back my bank details
10. Refund processed 3 days later, accompanied by another sulky email stating that it had been completed.
Customer service? No. Would I have gotten the refund I was entitled to if I hadn't taken them through court? Probably Not.
Don't touch them with a barge pole, there's poor customer service and then there's business practices which are borderline fraud. Taking peoples money without supplying goods, or ignoring requests to cancel an order when requested fall into the latter category.
For future reference, never, EVER deal with a company which doesn't have a phone number on their website (they've taken it off since the initial posts on this topic).
Just to clarify, we're talking about
http://www.tensmachinedirect.co.uk who trade from The Barn, Landimore, Swansea. SA3 1HD.
They also trade under the names:
http://www.angelcaremonitor.co.uk http://www.respisensemonitor.co.uk http://www.maternitypillow.co.uk http://www.pregnancypillow.co.uk http://www.tensmachines.co.uk
Note that NONE of these websites have a contact phone number.

Take them through the small claims court (
http://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk), apparently they respond to legal challenges.
