The TVDVD Store

So on June 7, 2008 I ordered a set of DVDs from the TV DVD Store (The TVDVDStore), it would take 67 to 14 business days to receive.

So I waited until June 26: no DVDs. Sent an email asking about delivery and "Mike" answered that I would receive them "this week or early next week".

So on July 7 I sent another email telling "Mike" that since I hadn't received the DVDs after over a month since placing the order, I was requesting a refund, their address and phone number - interestingly enough, neither is listed on the website.....

Well, no answer from "Mike" nor do I expect one.

Moral: stay away from the TVDVDStore.

There is no contact information on the website and the WhoIs info shows a private registration.

There are a number of complaints posted at complaintsboard.com in regards to them,
Pirated, faulty DVDs, no refunds
Pirated Copies & Totally Illegal

Seems any merchandise that has been received has been coming from China. There are a number of these cheap pirated DVD sites on the web. If you even receive any goods they are likely to not work or be bad quality. Not to mention illegal in the first place.
