Ok i went on to finde this SOny Camera for a Cheap Price i Only Found Two Sites with good Prices. Well The First one is The Link above. Well price seems good now can i trust this site will they Scam me or send my crap?

Not to be trusted, they sell incomplete merchandise without batteries and con you into buying more stuff to make your purchase complete! You cannot cancel or return without a 20% re-stocking fee!

This Place is a ripoff. I placed an order on 7/15. On 7/16 i called asking about my order. The guy asked me what type of battery i wanted for my camera
i stated the battery is included with the canon camera. I was told it wasn't
when i told the guy that all the ripoff stories about the company on the net were true , and they were stripping all included items from canon and selling
each item too make more money he got really pissed off canceled my order
and hung up on me. I went as far as reporting them to canon and the
NY BBB. DON'T BUY FROM THESE RIPOFF'S !!!

I just was about to purchase a camera (Nikon d80) at this site because it shows up as a " trusted seller" on diduprice.com...
Now I guess I know why they had a price about $200 less than everyone else!

I wish I had done a simple Google search on these guys before I bought. I too bought two items a Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder and a Canon Powershot SD770 IS for my upcoming trip to Spain. I got a call from a guy the next morning, early, saying that the Powershot only had a "temporary" battery, that I needed to buy a battery and charger (???). I was half asleep and had spent so much time researching the cameras the day before that I just said fine, include the battery and charger. He was really pissed that I didn't want the 3 year warranty, which I never buy from anywhere. I now got the cameras and they are the plain cameras that come in a box with nothing more. But they charged me $1299!!!!! I went back to the web site and even the highest "package" they have would have cost $500 less. Also, the invoice says they sent me a "Premium Package", but the web site does not have a "premium" package for either camera. Also, every package over and above the "plain" camera includes a tripod, camera case, higher MB sd card, etc. but I got nothing of that, just the plain box that cameras come in. Even the Powershot lists an 512mb sd card on thier "starter" package when my box only contained a 32mb card.
I went on BHcamera and priced out the same exact packages I got and it would have cost $1,020. And BHcamera is expensive in comparison with other sites.

So, I have sent these guys a very direct e-mail and have contacted my credit card company, with whom I have a very close relationship since I use my card very heavily for online and other purchases. I will place a dispute on this charge and go ALL THE WAY with these guys. They are not going to rip me off.

But it is really my fault for not checking!!!! I cannot believe your comments at the first line of a simple Google search. I just didn't even think, since these guys are "recommended sellers" at various camera sites! How can this be? What a mess.

I too made the mistake of placing an order, a Canon 40D.

I called them to confirm the order, I was asked if i wanted to buy a Battery for $150 and a charger for $185 (both togeather I can buy from best buy for $100 total) I told them I have a Canon 10d and the Batteries work for both, he assured me they did not, I told him I did not need Batteries or a charger. Then he asked me if I wanted the Plastic 40D or the Magnesium Body, I told him I know the camera is only made as a magnesium Body, and told him to cancel the order.

They are Con Artists, tomorrow I am going to my state attorney and the BBB, I suggest you all do the same, SCUM like this deserve to be behind Bars, not serving Drinks, that's an honest Job, I mean in an institute as someones Bitch.

Prices in general are a bit high in addition to bate and switch sales tactics. Check woot.com daily to get a quality low cost camera (when available).

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!!!
I wanted to buy a new nikonp80 camera,cause was so cheap.after all day looking for the best deal for camera this one was insanily good and since i dont have any experience in buying online and everything that I bought was perfectly fine,i bought the camera.
day after guy is calling me to ask me did i order the camera and told me that i need to buy a battery for camera.I said that i thought that baterry was included,he said no that i need to pay extra 80 or 100 and something for two hour or five hour camera.and then he told me that i need to buy a new memory card cause the one that comes with camera contains only 10 pictrs.
I was crazy.I really needed camera for friday,didnt know what to do so i said first ok for battery.after few minutes (not even 10 min)i called again and asked to cancel my order,first some woman answered on the phone and i said that i want to cancel my order,then she transfer my call to that guy and i told him to cancel my order and he told me that order is allready processed and if i want to cancel it I need to pay 10 %.I said thats impossible cause they still needed confirmation from my bank for shipping adress.in meanwhile i was sent on other line with voicemail.I was confused.Called again,waited i dont know how much,and the same women answered again.I asked for manager,she asked why do i need manager.I said because of my order,and then she asked the name of my order.After I gave it to her,she told me that she is the manager and didnt want to tell me her identity and hung up the phone.I called few times,nobody didnt want to answer on the phone.And then i saw these postings,oh my god..I called my bank and canceled my credit card before they take the money and bank will investigate cause I dont know why,but they took dollar from account.But its still enough to put a dispute on them and to trace where will that dollar go.( i hope so)
So one more time,dont buy there nothing!luckally I didnt loose anything but i still cant believe that nobody didnt put them behind the bars and that companies are selling them their products..

Another story to add. Ordered the Nikon D80 because of the price and was called and oh by the way, the model you ordered is a 'China' version and you want the US version. That one is $859.00. And oh by the way we can upgrade you to the battery and charger (which are part of the camera when you buy it at Best Buy) and a 2 G digital card. Well the price came to $1089.00 when it was all said and done. I got the camera today and have no way of telling if it is US or not but the box is littered with Chinese and there is NO 2G card. But thank goodness I got the lens cleaning kit, camera case, screen protector etc. I would NOT buy from this comapny again!

Well here is an update. I called 'customer service' today to get a returnm goods number so I could send back my garbage from Shopdigitaldirect. When you call you get put to the 'salesman' that handled your account. He or she will strong arm you about your return. They will tell you that what they sent you is not 'grey market' cameras. I had NIKON tell me that the camera was a gray market one. At anyrate, they charge you a 10% restocking fee as well as the shipping, handling and insurance. They supposidly charged me $65.00 to ship and insure my box o' junk. They will NOT give you your RMA number and return address until you let them record you saying that you accept them keeping your money. They do this because they know you are going to file a compalint with your credit card company. I think they believe that this will get them the money they want.

THIS IS A BAD COMPANY! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
