Can you us a favor and take a picture of this "label" and post it up here? It would be interesting to see.

I'll continue to use them. I mean, look....they bothered to set up an account here in 2001 and have only had to post 5 times. Go look at those 5 posts.

If a company has built up their reputation over the years and have had a few customers had things go awry, it doesn't mean they do bad business. I bet every one of you that works for a company that you think is a good business has had to deal with the same types of complaints. It's HOW you deal with them that's important. It's also important as to HOW the customer deals with the business. Somethings, like returning money, has to go through proper channels to keep bookkeeping right, and to ensure that things go the way they are supposed to. Just throwing money back at the customer doesn't ensure that the company isn't getting ripped off either.

I'm not the only one pissed off about NewEgg's delivery choices.

EggXpert - Warning: Eggsaver shipping is HORRIBLE!
EggXpert - DHL why?

Yup, and this post sums up it up clearly:

Quote:
USPS is not a parcel company. They are a mail service that also deals in parcels on the side. For a person shipping a package once and a while, yes it is efficient, but at the volume newegg ships, USPS is HORRIBLY inefficient. Direct pickup by USPS would be quite expensive for newegg's package volume and would not be as cheap you seem to think. I can't believe you people, as there is seriously something wrong with you. It says right on it how long it is supposed to take. Most people take the time to read their order info to make sure they know what they're getting, I guess some of us are above that.

I'm going to say it again, because obviously it doesn't sink in...

You get what you pay for.

I know first hand based on shipping prices that newegg's shipping prices reflect market rates, so I have no doubt we are getting the most reasonable prices possibly on all counts.

Bye-bye to DHL

It looks like one of my wishes may be coming true this holiday season, that NewEgg will be forced to stop using DHL for deliveries. This just in from AP:

"Deutsche Post AG will close all of its DHL Express service centers, cut 9,500 jobs in the United States and eliminate U.S.-only domestic shipping by land and air, the company said Monday, citing heavy losses and fierce competition."
