I'm about to put up a post at Digg about Buy.com. I will post the link here. If you could go digg it, I would appreciate it. Specifically it's going to be about a certain other reseller rating site and the fact that their ratings are drastically off. Like.... obvious cheating. Super obvious. I just want people to be aware of this, you have to come here to RR for any kind of true review.

Pricegrabber.com gives Buy.com a 3.92/5 3 month rating, 4.21/5 lifetime rating with 11322 reviews since 19APR1999.

As per your links;
Bizrate.com gives Buy.com a ~85% postive in the last 3 months with over a million reviews since 1999.

Epinions.com gives Buy.com 3.5/5 stars with 3291 reviews since 8MAY2005.

RR gives Buy.com a 2/10 6 month, 4.33/10 lifetime rating with 3310 reviews since 22SEP1999.

If you translate all the above into a equal system you get,
Pricegrabber ~8.4
Bizrate ~8.5
Epinons ~7
RR ~4.3
Averaging all those out gives Buy.com a 7/10. Epinions seems to be the most correct in that case.
Even just using Pricegrabber and RR would give them a ~7/10, as Pricegrabber has almost 3 times the number of reviews as does RR.

Also, the BBB gives Buy.com a 'BBB' rating which is above average.

BBB A very high rating. A company with this rating would not have a significant number of complaints or other considerations that could pose a problem to consumers.

Random dingleberries are paid to give reviews of sites.... E-Poll. Think about the results of that.

Half their reviews look like advertisements.

Since there is no oversight, consumers must view those "ratings" as suspect..I would raise the bar, buying nothing from any etailer under eight...
