Right .... it says ebay so click and sure enough there is THE camera with the $820.99 price and BUY IT NOW .... but "view full description reveals that, "Nikon D80 10.2MegaPixel Digital SLR Camera (Body only)," is REALLY what CITYOFDIGITAL has in mind. Along with a 25% return charge this seller enjoys an amazing high rating.

Darn ... and I still believe in the tooth fairy.

Are you interested in a D80?

Armed with info I read here, I got one problem free, from Abes of Maine...that's right...I said it.


I decided to buy the D80, and aside from a scam price of $419.00, Abes had the best price.


Ultimately, (price came down the day after I first found their site)they still have it at a price of $709.00, including a free 2 gig card. Body only.

Free shipping, no tax outside of NJ.


I did have a slight glitch, ordering it last Monday. I let them know that they have a horrible rep. and if they want to play nice, I would be happy to do business with them.


They made a half hearted attempt to do some of the hard sell things I've read about here, but I put them in their place, and got my camera 24 hours after ordering it.

Perhaps I was just lucky. I can't thank this site enough for helping me "get over" on one of these lying, cheating, outfits.
