import-action
ayone bought from these guys import-action.com i bought an airsoft gun from here about 5 days ago, there was a message that said they were out of the office from 2/27/08 to 3/13/08 and all orders would be put on back order but todays the 14th and they havent provided any information on shipping orders, so i called them and emailed them i got the machine and the call and they havent offered any help through email. Do you think i should wait it out for a little more or take further action to see if my credi card is protected

IMPORT-ACTION...buyer beware
I ordered airsoft product, 1 item costing over $500 (Classic Army M249). My credit card was charged but the item was not in stock. Normal business will hold the cash but will not charge the card until the item is delivered. I waited for over a month for the merchandise. When the merchandise did arrived, it was missing parts (box magazine). I am still waiting for the missing part. The missing part is valued over a hundred dollars. I made arrangement with Mr. Thomas Li for suitable replacement. We both agreed but until now i'm still waiting. I'm writing this to warn other buyers.

Avoid this Seller!
I am having similar problems dealing with import-action. Within hours of placing an order, I sent an email to cancel the order ( found out the airsoft parts I ordered would not fit in my brand of gun) and I called the listed phone numbers posted on the site. In short did everything resonable as a buyer to communicate the need to cancel an order. The emails either bounced or went unanswered and the phones roll to full voicemail or fax numbers. After 10 day I still have not had any communication other than an initial order confirmation - and finally 7 days later an email that my order has shipped and could take up to ten days to deliver.
I typically don't rant about things, but my experience with this seller is so totally out of character with most internet shopping that I want to let anyone who's asking know that this is a seller to avoid. I wish that I had searched and found the comments posted here BEFORE I placed my order - I would have looked for another seller. In the future, I will always do a search on a seller before I decide to place an order. Import-Action and their lack-of-action to provide even marginal service gives online shopping a bad rap.

Update
Just to let anyone monitoring this thread know; I did receive the items I had been trying to cancel on 5/27/08. I again tried to call Import-Action and this time the phone was actually answered by Thomas! I explained that I had been trying to cancel the order which had now been delivered. Thomas was very pleasant, explained the return process and promised to issue a full refund once he received the returned items. I did not ask or discuss why there had been such a problem with communications. I had opened a claim with PayPal since I used them to make the payment on the order - and within several hours of talking with Thomas, I got an email from PP stating that the claim had been resolved as Import-Action had made a full refund. Prior to this, there had been no response from Import-Action to the PayPal attempts to commuicate the claim. So it would seem that Thomas / Import-Action is a legitimate seller but one that lags behind other online sellers in their ability to communicate in a timely manner with customers.

My shoppong experience was way better than the people above me. I have not gotten my package yet because i ordered just a few days ago my package is being shipped right now

Very poor experience here-Stay Away
Ordered item on June 8, 2009 it's now June 26, 2009 and nothing has been delivered. The order confirmation page says:
Thank you again for your order from Gamesfantasy Please note that USPS does not give detailed tracking information yes they do", it only shows billing information received until the item is delivered. Once delivered, it will show that it has been delivered. Your order is shipped from Los Angeles; CA. California residents can expect delivery within a day or two. The closer you are to California the sooner you can expect delivery. Please allow up to a 10 or more working days for shipments going to NY or FL due to the distance from CA. "BOGUS 5 days max".Thank you for your patience.

Buyer Beware!!
I have read through all the posts and have had all of the problems discussed happen to me. I ordered some DVDs on May 6, it is now July 2nd. I have not recieved anything. I got the same message saying refer to your order status for shipping status. It still says WILL SHIP IN 2-3 DAYS BULL****!! I will be waiting another 10 days if it were to ship tommorrow!! I will wait till the end of the month then I will get a refund. Oh, I called within the stated business hours and got the answer machine 3 TIMES, Then I sent another email saying to give me an explanation about my order and they sent this little bit of info. saying "your items are on backorder will ship soon". That was the middle of June!!! I think this Thomas guy everyone talked to is the only person that works at this place.
BE PREPARED TO PLAY THE LONGEST WAITING GAME OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Thanks for the warnings everyone. Seriously, Thank you so much. I was about to drop about 200 dollars in DVDs when I read these horror stories.
I'd rather pay more and purchase from a reputable store. You know, like one those stores where you pay for stuff and they.................... Ship you stuff!
