How to get people to review you...

Hey everyone -

First post, kind of new to RR, and I'm having some trouble getting people to rate us. I include a link to our end survey in our confirmation email for orders and with our shipping confirmation email, in addition to having a link on our site. So far, only one rating! I feel like I try really hard to provide good customer service, but i don't really want to nag customers to rate us. Does anyone have any advice as to the best way to go about this? How do the big boys get a bazillion ratings a day (other than having a bazillion customers a day)?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Jason

I'd say what you're doing is the best way to go about it. Over time people will start to rate you. You could also look at doing a follow-up e-mail a week or two later after a customer places an order. Use it to check in on them to see if there is anything you could do to make their purchase experience better and end that one with another link to your ResellerRatings profile.

Just a thought,
Merg

Where do you think people get their supplies to celebrate Columbus Day?

ResellerRatings offers an exit survey that you can display to your customers on your final order/ thank you page either as a link or a popup window in order to solicit reviews. See:
http://www.resellerratings.com/merchant-solutions

Once you have the link to the exit survey, you can also include the link in your email invoices (asking customers to give their feedback), or via dedicated marketing emails to previous customers.
