One Piece of Junk after the Other

Well, since you bring them up...

After much hassle, FlingThing replaced the piece of junk they sold me (that they purchased from a manufacturer that went out of business) with a less-then-comparable unit WHICH ALSO STOPPED WORKING within a month.

I was so disgusted with the whole transaction, I decided to let dead dogs lie and take the total loss.

I continue to discourage anyone from buying the inferior merch they sell, or at a minimum, research thoroughly any product you are contemplating buying from them if you find the lure of cheap prices irresistable.

You don't understand how they can sell you that $500 item for $20 do you? They did more than they promised by sending you a replacement.

If they sold items at 4% of their retail price as you suggest, I probably would've known to stay away. Unfortunately for me, that wasn't the case. This was quite an expensive item at maybe a 20% discount.

I'll tell you what -- if you think they did such a great job, put your money where your mouth is. I'll send you both non-working items and you send me the amount I paid.

Not such a great deal when it's YOUR money, is it?

I'll refrain from passing judgement and simply repeat the warning that I wish someone had enlightened me with ....

DON'T BUY FROM ThingFling!

Except buying from you would not be comparable. You assure me they don't work. From ThingFling I would expect they would most likely work (like my 18v Drill and Reciprocating Saw as well as everything else I got from them). Plus you haven't said anything about what they are nor how much you paid for them. Even so, you paid for one item and I paid for over 20 (not counting ones that can't Not work; i.e. wrenches). So we're about less than a 5% failure rate. Which for someone that refuses to back up the items they sell, is a pretty good rate. I just got back from a convention with people selling items for hundreds over retail and offering nothing for it. Thing Fling seems like a pretty good deal.
