Dave1919 is infamous around these parts
Panasonic , B&H, not honoring promotions, BOYCOTT

For December 07 buyers of some Panasonic products form authorized dealers, in this case the HVX 200 Camera, neither Panasonic nor B&H photo are honoring promotions. Panasonic and B&H advertised that a P2 card would be included in the box of any HVX 200 ordered. Not only is the P2 card not included, but both Panasonic "Customer Service" and B & H photo refuse to address the situation and make good on the promotion. Out and out fraud.

You pay more at B & H than any camera store in the country so you'd think you'd get service and support and they would not stoop to bait and switch tactics, but here it is.

Prospective buysers: avoid both Panasonic products and B&H. They are really operating at the same level as expresscamera.com, Beach, and the other NY swindlers. At west coast firms, for example Samy's, you're going to get into attitudes and multi-store issues, but at least you can make a fair deal. Same goes for the midwest stores like DVW and the people are actually nice. At least they will deliver what they advertise.

Boycott B&H! They will not honor manufacturer promotions and they will not respond to after purchase inquiries.

As Steve R Jones said.

Also does the ad have any fine print along the lines of, 'not responsible for typographical errors' or 'limited product availability'?

A misleading ad would be exactly that, misleading advertising, not fraud or a bait and switch. It is a advertising issue.

B & H does not sell for the highest prices. Their prices are quite reasonable.
