Need info on Apple Electronics

Considering buying from Apple Electronics http://www.a1secureshop.com/catalog....reshop/pg11564, but wanted opinions on the place.

I searched the forums here and at the BBB and cannot find anything.

EDIT: AE is listed here, but the reviews are from 03-05.

BBB had a listing for Wholesale Electronics at the same address (an apt building in NYC), but are currently collecting info on them. I was able to find some good reviews for them, but they are from 2003-2004.

Ahhh, thought that address looked familiar, Scam.com.
This appears to be a newer reincarnation of Coolphones.mobi, now offline.

I'd point out that they do not take CC's. 'About Us/Payment' page. Only echeck or MO. That alone is reason enough not to use them as you have no protection from fraud with those payment methods.

Always use a Credit Card. Even Debit Cards to not carry any Fraud protection in some cases.

NOTE
I've seen numerous reports of people not receiving any merchandise from these people. I've also seen reports of people getting excellent service. However, the good reports always seem to be posted by the same usernames in different forums and/or on the same date. Ex. answers.yahoo.com

I had emailed them because they do take Amex cards and got a response back this morning stating this:

because of inventory, I suggest you use an alternative payment method. You may mail payment, or if you have online banking, most banks have some sort of "bill pay" or "pay anyone" feature. Sure looks looks them to me.
Also see Scam.com post #11. I have not been able to find a 'Jordan Ltd' or 'Jordans Ltd.' registered as a business with either the State of New York or the State of Nevada.

Coolphones.mobi was once registered with Webentrust.com but have since been banned, webentrust.com/sites/coolphones.mobi. They also were accepting CC's up to around late OCT. early NOV. but lost that as well. They have been changing websites and address's since at least OCT2007.

I would not recommend doing business with them.

If they don't take a CC's then don't use them.

It appears from beachgirl713's last two posts that they do not take CC's and she feels that they are a fraud, she did not order from them.

I also do not recommend doing business with them.

I just used their chat to ask where I could pick up the camera in NYC, "Simone" replied that the warehouse is in NV but a call center in NYC.

Then I asked why they don't accept MC or Visa and "Simone" just ended the chat. No thank you, no goodbye!
