style runway!!! Dont order!!!
I too have ordered from this fake company. I placed an order on Dec. 8, 2007 and the very next day 197.00 was debited from my account. I have contacted them only through live chat and eachtime sindy is the one who claims to be a customer service rep. She lies, changes her story and honestly this is not her name. when i start to ask questions she gives me the generic answer, "your order will be shipped out the next business day or from 5 days from today" what the hell!!! what kind of answer is that and for how long can you keep giving this answer. this is ridiculous!!!! now when i go to live chat and they see who is writing, sindy or jacob never answer and the phone number is phony!! sebastian, a sales rep. for purerunway@gmail.com replied on behalf of style runway and claimed that my order has been processed and is being sent out the next business day. don't believe him too!!! purerunway is part of style runway. don't believe any of them. I have reported them too and hope that this thief and rapist will soon be held accountable for his/her action.

I was scammed!! BEWARE OF STYLERUNWAY
I PLACED A ORDER NOV.15TH 2007 FOR OVER 409.00 DOLLARS I EVENTUALLY RECEIVED 3 OF THE 4 ITEMS I ORDERED.. AROUND DEC.15TH I FINALLY GET A RESPONSE FROM INFO@STYLERUNWAY STATING THAT IN 7-10 DAYS MY CREDIT CARD WOULD BE DEBITED BACKED FOR THE BLUE EVISU HOODED THAT WASN'T IN STOCK... TODAY IS JAN. THE 9TH AND STILL NO RESPONSE AND CALLING BOTH OF THOSE #'S 877-STYLE-11 OR 877-9-RUNWAY ARE A JOKE!! WHEN YOU INTIALLY PLACE YOUR ORDER YOU DONT GET A CONFIRMATION # OR A TRACKING # LIKE THEY PROMISE, THE ITEMS TAKES 3-4 WEEKS TO ARRIVE AND THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY EVEN IF THE ITEM ISNT IN STOCK AND THEN WHEN YOU GO TO THE WEBSITE NOW THAT BLUE EVISU HOODED IS ON THERE BUT THATS WHERE THE SCAMM COMES IN IF YOU KNOW THE ITEMS WONT BE AVAILABLE THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE PAGE BUT THEY WANT YOUR MONEY AND WILL TAKE IT THEN WE HAVE TO CREATE MESSAGES LIKE THIS.. I NEED TO KNOW HOW I CAN REPORT THEM FOR FRAUD??

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM STYLERUNWAY!
OH MY GOSH! I AM SOOO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!! On December 18 I ordered a pair of designer jeans for a Christmas present on stupid www.stylerunway.com. I got a confirmation email. Two weeks later, still not recieving the jeans, I decided to call their customer service line and got the automated system saying that they have staff working 24 hours a day but on saturdays they're open till 6. I find that hilarioooouuuuusss because I honestly called 40 times a day, no response, I left messages on the machine, no response, and I emailed, no response. So whatever, I contacted my bank and explained to them what happened and now I have to write some detailed letter to them before they give me my money bank. Whoever this little prick is who made the site REALLY needs a life asap...why hasn't he been caught by now? What could we do about this to take the website down? Ugh! I'll definitely be doing more research before ordering something from online, if I ever decide to do so again. Thanks for hearing me out!

From ABC News, "Designer Clothing Website Scam Alert", Quote:
Last Update: 1/11 5:40 pm
Many shoppers who are into designer clothing know you can usually find the best deals online.
Several websites sell overstocked or last seasons designer goods at 40% off, or more.
But one slick website offering even better deals on designer duds may be just that: a dud.
Medical technician Erin Render thought she found a great deal on designer shoes. She tells me "I was searching Yahoo...I put in Gucci shoes....which I wanted for Christmas, and it popped up."
It was a website called StyleRunway dot com: a sophisticated website -- supposedly based in California -- selling designer names at discount. Erin found "a pre-Christmas sale, every was 30 to 70 percent off, and everything was authentic."
There, amid the Versace jeans and Prada purses, she found $350 dollar Gucci shoes on sale for $165.
She entered her credit card, recieved an email reciept, then waited....and waited...and waited.
She tried the site's live web chat, and called its toll free number....but still nothing.
Erin says "I spent 185 dollars! And no merchandise? Nothing."
She's not alone. The Better Business Bureau has recently issued an alert, calling StyleRunway dot com "online bandits" ....after receiving 40 complaints in just one month.
The BBB says the site is based out of England, not california....and calls it a slick online scam. We tried reaching the site through its Live Chat window, but received no response.
Erin, who's disputing the charge with her credit card company, says she learned a tough lesson.
bottom line: investigate any online seller carefully. Don't be lured in by a slick website, familiar brands, and the Visa and Mastercard logos.
Look for reviews....and check that vendor with the Better Business Bureau....so you don't waste your money.
