So, I just got my Sony DSC-T100. Thankfully, it all worked out. I had my mom call, on Monday (because I didn't want to deal with them), just to confirm what was coming in my order. They were completely rude still when she asked her questions. No way a customer should be treated. My brother told me to ask for a confirmation number, which he gave, and the shipping tracking id. At first he said he didn't have, but a second later he gave it. Weird. So I got everything in the package, plus a few bonus items they through in. I'm happy. Although, not really a surprise anymore.
I may have received everything I wanted, but they upped the price, which truthfully wasn't anymore expensive than anywhere else, but it wasn't worth it. I would never order from them again, I'm just glad I got through this purchase. Horribly rude service and major scammers.
If you think you're getting a deal, YOU'RE NOT. You end up paying for it in the end.

Wow! I never thought there are so many people with the same experience on one forum site alone. Unfortunately I exactly had the same experience as you guys. I tried to buy a low priced camera but was pressured to buy those extras that I already have. And since I wouldnt buy those skyrocket priced extras, I also received an email that my order was cancelled due to "out of stock".
Hopefully no one will fall into their trap.

I wish I had checked here first before trying to buy a camera from Techondigital. Their website consistently claims to have a Canon SX100 available but when I ordered on and called to confirm, they tried to sell an overpriced memory card and extra battery. I didn't need either one. I later found out that my order was canceled with no explanation. Don't do business with this company.

comengineer. The camera I tried to order from Techondigital was also the Canon SX100. Same thing happened. I finally just purchased from Amazon at a higher price but a reputable company and absolutely no problems with any of my orders.

Suddenly I'm seeing a lot of "very satisfied" reviews for TechonDigital. Can a Leopard really change his spots or is something else going on here ? Hmmm....I wonder.

Hmmm....I wonder. | I see 5 that were posted yesterday. I have notified the staff about it and they, the reviews, will be checked.
Please understand that it may take a few days to investigate the reviews.
Thanks.

Thanks for checking into it. I'm always a little suspicious when I see a miracle.

Beware of www.techondigital.com
I would advise avoiding this company, no matter how good the deal might seem.
I saw a great price on a camcorder so I placed the order via their web site, and then received an email saying I needed to call their phone number to "confirm my Internet order".
When I did so, the salesman said the order was fine, but then spent time trying to convince me that it came only with the manufacturer's battery and I would CERTAINLY want to buy an additional higher-capacity (and high-price) battery to go with it. This went on for manyminutes, with me saying each time "Thanks, but I'm really not interested in additional batteries." Finally the salesman gave up and said "Ok, I'll put the order through. Enjoy your camcorder."
The next day, I got an email message saying my merchandise was "out-of-stock" and, therefore, my order was being canceled.
Evidently it was in-stock up until the point where I declined to buy the add-on battery, at which time it suddenly became out-of-stock!

In light of the most recent reviews, before ordering with TechonDigital you got to ask yourself just one question, "Do I feel lucky?"
Be careful out there shoppers!
