Techon Digital- They are not fraud artist!!!
I just purchased a Nikon coolpix P5100 on Nov. 20th 2007 from Techon Digital. I started to read the reviews after my purchase and I too started freaking out. I called them back and talked to them about my concerns. To make a long story short, they called me back that night to tell me that they shipped my camera out that night for me so I wouldn’t worry. I received it via UPS a week later. IT WAS EXCATLY WHAT I WANTED!!!! It was real, had a manufactures warranty, had all the manuals and they even through in a few extras. Everything was sealed up and unopened.
I will do business with them AGAIN in the future.

I started this thread because the site looked suspicious, and their prices looked too good to be true. I suspect TechOnDigital (aka- DigitalNerds) has gotten a little religion w/ all the bad reviews they have received on this forum.
I don't doubt you got what you ordered, but, with all the bad reviews I'm seeing, I believe it's problematical, that if you order from them again, you'll receive the same kind of service you received on your last order.
Enjoy your camera,

...and I suspect that stacymahony is with techondigital. After ALL of these stories, that one sounds WAY too good to be true. If not, congratulations - you would be the proverbial needle in the haystack. Just know that it sounds very unbelievable based on all of these stories.

For you newer members.
You can see what reviews a member has left by 'left-clicking' on their username and then selecting 'View Public Profile'. After that you will be presented with a option too see, 'Find all vendor reviews by " username".
Using the above methods you would see that as of this time 'stacymahony' has not left any reviews.
You can go back and edit any reviews you leave at a later date.
Please note that all reviews must be in accordance with RR's WEB SITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE AGREEMENT. Notably the 16 points listed.
You can leave a review at; resellerratings.com/store/TheDigitalNerds

I'm Worried:(
After a long time searching online, I came across the techondigital website. I was looking for the discontinued Sony DSC-T100 camera. The price was the best I could find at 339 and so I ordered it. After ordering you're prompted to call an 877 number, I hadn't gotten around to it yet and the next day, today, the company called to confirm the order. I could barely understand him and he was talking so fast and confusing me saying that the camera I ordered didn't come with a battery and that I needed to order the US Model to get the battery, I kept trying to ask him questions like, what actually comes with it if I get the US Model. He put me on hold for a second and came back saying do you want it and kept insisting that you couldn't find this camera anywhere else and I'm definitely not going to find the battery. So I ended up agreeing to it at 399 + tax and shipping. I told my mom right after and she was mad and called back. She ended up getting the same guy and started kind of arguing with him. Just asking she's like, what is this the Chinese model and he said yes. So that made me suspicious. He said it said it said so on the website but it didn't. And she told him that they need to put the US model on there, because people don't know. He started yelling at my mom which I thought was ridiculous. He kept saying that you couldn't get the camera anywhere else and to give him the names of the websites that you could. So we ended up getting the camera and he through in a couple of free things. But now I'm worried that I going to get screwed after reading this stuff. And I don't know why they reserve the right for 20% of returns or exchanges. I should have stuck with my first feeling, because when I was checking out, I accidentally had an error in the Billing Info. and there was no button to change it, not even the back button. So if this is a scam, I worried because they have my mom's credit card number and if they end up taking the money out, I want to make sure I get what I ordered. So I hope everything works out. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to do???

They charged my mom's account for the money and now I'm wondering if I'll get the camera. And if I do, will all the parts be there and be brand new. I'm now wondering what to do if they tell me that the camera is out of stock, like a lot of people have been saying has happend. Will we get our money back?? I'm wondering what to do if it does come to that??

techondigital-scam artist
What a bunch of scam artisits- just tried to order a camera that was suppose to be 'in stock' when I refused to buy any accessories, the camera was suddenly 'on back order for 6-8 weeks'. Hung up and called back (I'm sure they could see that I was a call back). My first question was "do you have this camera in stock?" Salesman was rude and said they 'didn't have any of those cameras to sell'. Better off paying $20.00 more and ordering from an honest company!!!!
