Circuit City Problem

I tried to order the HP A6040N computer advertized in 10/15/07's newsletter, but was unable to complete the deal online. I called the phone # in the ad and was able to make the order by phone. It was to be shipped free (ordinary mail), but I opted for 3-day delivery. When it didn't show up today, I called to check the status. The lady I first talked to said there was no record of my order in their system. I was passed to another person which would supposedly help me. First, I could barely hear her due to their lousy connection and then she was not only unable to give me any further help, but said there was nothing they could do. I finally hung up in desperation. My next letter goes to the BBB.

Welcome to RR, Wolfdog..I would call back and speak with a supervisor or a department head and see if they will helf you..Frankly, I must say, that this company would not be my first choose in ordering this type of produce..GL and report back to us..

Agreed. Check the credit card charges. It could simply be the order was taken by a phone sale rep but never actually processed due to a myriad of reasons, including even a simply data entry error. While not great from a customer service aspect, it does occasionally happen.
