Custom PC Vendor's

I don't know where to put this so I decided to put it here. I'm planning to buy a custom computer soon. So far the best vendors i've found are Vigor gaming and maingear. However I want to know, am I missing another great vendor?

Vigor is pretty good, as their rating shows. I think that the only other ones that I would look into is Falcon NW. However, Falcon NW is much more expensive. I would stay away from the "powers" (i.e. Cyberpower and Ibuypower), because there reviews from their customers are very mixed and even with the good ones, their customer service seems suspect.

I've heard very good things about ABS PC. As someone else said, avoid Cyberpower.

They're very good in price and quality of build, and they have a standard three year warranty.Good place if you're looking for a gaming computer, they offer overclocking and a big selection of components.

I will 2d your comment concerning "ibuypower." Nothing but problems with them; failed to shipp all items ordered; computer does not work with the monitor (yes, it works with 4 other computers); returned a damaged computer even after I told them not to return same until repaired (Who but that means we have to take apart the computer), I could care less - fix it! Now, I am having software issues WITH the products / software they installed. One thing after another. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM!!!!!

All the companies you mentioned except for the "powers" I've heard good things about. I just recieved my computer Monday-I went with DigitalStorm. For price/quality I was debating between Vigor and DigitalStorm but after reading the forums on DigitalStorm and reading their resellerratings I leaned towards DS.

I personally am very happy with the build I ordered and everything was great. Thats the absolute main reason I went with DS is their customer service is great. I like the replies they give to people with a bad experiance, and every question I asked on their website was answered within minutes. Also the fact that they will build whatever system you want-even order parts they dont carry speaks volumes to me.

In any case good luck with your search. It looks like you're on the right track as all the builders you mentioned have good reputations. For me the choice was between Vigor and DigitalStorm but for the money and personal service I went with DS and have no regrets. Couldnt be happier with build and knowing they will be in business for some time is comforting. I'll actually be adding my review for DigitalStorm within the next week-just breaking her in now.
