Whats wrong with Amazon?

Hi
I bought a new ipod from amazon.com by using
check they said that it will take 2-3 wk for the check to process
I send the check on Sept.26
but i was wondering what is taking them so long to process it?
last time i bought something from newegg using check
and newegg also said it will take 2-3 wk to process. but they were much faster it took them like a day and my order was already process.

These mutts are churning your money, simple as that. Today many checks will clear in a day or two. Nozama is not for me.

because the item said its from Amazon itself not from other merchant
and i live close to their headquarter to too which is in Seattle,WA
