Well I fell victim! I had never researched this forum before getting scamed! First I saw this store on ShopCart which itself is a very questionable reference site for "GREAT PRICES". I ordered a Canon S5IS at a great price 275.00. Next much to my surprise I saw you needed to buy the battery pack. Ok another 30.00 add to that shipping 35.00. STILL this was a bargain 340.00. I ordered and soon received a call from BestBuy Cameras asking for additional information...then a sale pitch for lens, etc. I declined and the rather ABRUPT representive said "OK that will be 417.00 on your MasterCard...CLICK goes the phone!

Then I started to try to call back...NIGHTMARE...hold hold...hold. After spending 2 days, talking to various people (maybe they were different) I said CANCEL. Oh we can't I'm told. It has been processed. Sure enough its on my MasterCard as a pending transaction.

I called MasterCard and they were very cooperative but could not remove the charge until it appreared on the bill. (I have faith in MasterCard...I've had another dispute a few years back and they rectified it)

Another idiot bites the dust!

By the way I checked the BBB and this company has a MINIMUM of 18 names...all kinds of complaints with the majority UNRESOLVED.
