The volume quip was sarcastic, hard to tell over the net.

From all the specs I've seen, the 8000 series cards, incuding the 8600's,are all SLI capable. Not sure about the 8000's,but the 7000 series cards required an SLI bridge to link the cards and and enable SLI.I'd check it out,you might still be able to use both cards.

I've researched SLI on nivida.com and the 8600GT 512's that I have, have no bridge connection port or cable connection plug-ins. They're right next to each other, but do not appear to have anything enabling them to connect to one another. There is a card going into the top card saying "dual card" something or other. Once I find the cable, I'll post the link to some pics.

There are no connector or plug in ports per say on the cards themselves, just a small notched section on the top of each card. The SLI bridge is a small circuit board with connectors on each end that slide down onto those notched sections, joining the cards. The bridge itself is supposed to be included with any SLI motherboard.

Be careful of customer service with Cyberpower

I bought a unit that initally worked although very noisy. Afterward multiple problems occurred and their service was not acceptable at all. They made you feel like an idiot even when they couldn't fix the problem. I finally got the computer to work, wrote a letter to the owner of the company but never receive a reply. Sorry, never again cyperpower pc.

Well, either way, I don't think I'm buying from CyberPower PC. It's just cheaper for me to get the parts myself.

But to those of you who have bought from them, I hope everything works out for you!

Anyway, as long as you get what you feel your money is worth, no one can tell you otherwise. Be happy and games on.

As for your 8600GT, they might be able to run SLI natively, I am not too sure about that. Running natively means that you don't need a bridge over the two cards and the SLI is running software-wise. You need to check on the web for more information.

Good luck with your computer built be sure to tell us more about it when you are done....

One final note:

This may have been mentioned in the pages and pages of comments I have not read, but just as a general rule you should be very skeptical of overly positive and informed comments (for instance, starmonkey on the first page). Very likely this is just a corporate schill.

For the power supply you should check out the Corsair HX 620W,it comes highly recommended.
