G'damn @%^$&%# 80.00 charges, 4 times now!
These terrorists have hit my PayPal debit card
(mastercard)! They turned 1 over, but now I have to file
affidavids for all of the others. Since it's a debit card,
I canceled it, but they seem to have gotten more
authorizations after the fact too.
I know I will get back the money from PayPal,
but I have other cards too, and now need to check the
statements closely for these overseas, Saudi Arabian
fraudulent charges too.

I now have depleated the debit card to 59.00 so that
it's unlikeley to get hit for it, but I am puzzled as to what
generate that many USABLE card numbers, over such
a wide spectrum of cards? Either way, this is a big problem!

My problem was that I have BACKUP funding. I only had $10 in my account when they hit it twice for $79.98, and so then Pay Pal charges my back up, my bank, which had $3, so here come all the bounce fees.... I am not happy at all. I canceled the debit cards and that BETTER work!

Interesting. The guy I talked to at PP. said that "could not happen".
Yeah right! Just as I thought. The damage control over there is not
the best. Hopefully this will all iron itself out shortly.

If it has happened to your Pay Pal Debit card cancel now, or they keep charging it!

I realized that after reading one of the guys posts on here where they came back and charged them again a couple days later that I needed to cancel my bank cards, AND the Pay Pal debit card. (Mine came through the Pay Pal Debit though)

Actually go into your account online and report it lost or stolen the agents did not even mention this to me when I was on the phone, I thought that it would be automatically done, it wasn't, so report in your account and save additional rip offs.

Yep, did that on the 15th. New card is being re issued.
But the kicker there is if there we old authorizations done
prior to canceling, they are already cleared.
The affidavids and complaints were enough for paypal to
give me the money back prior to mastercard resolving it.

I complained alot. Mike was very good about it all, so we'll see.

i called paypal on the 15th about the two charges. They supposedly cancelled one of the transactions and told me to wait til the other one clears and then to dispute it. Well tonight BOTH charges went through. .. So I have to send affidavits for both of the charges now. What a hassle. Will probably take 2 weeks to get my money back.

I forgot to mention that I sent the link to this forum and two other locations that mention people who have experienced what we have to my local station as well as to the Associated Press. (To their press release email address).

I think that we all should start flooding email boxes of news stations, phone lines etc. so that maybe more people can protect themselves, or at least come forward if they have been a victim and help bring more clues to who, what, where, when and HOW....

I just located this site by searching my website CyberMoo.com for STC SAWA RECHARGE RIYADH SA. Two charges were posted on the 15th of this month to my PayPal debit card. I contacted PayPal at that time. I thought the issue was resolved but today they have debited my account. After reading from this blog I would have thought they were very well imformed of this card fraud source by now. Seems this has accured more than once. This is what really gets me, "how they can do nothing about the problem". I should be able to stop payment at my bank for some of the two charges of 79.99 each. I'm ready to start using cash even though I need use of a credit card.

Our system has been breached in this country. The major card companies do not care if they get use of your money while the case is being resolved even though there employees are so sorry. They can sell us insurance to protect our account balances and share in the fees. We have given them the right to our property and now they can profit from our assets (our money, our business, our commerce). We have given the banks, the card companies, the taxing authorities, and our government officials the rights to inslave us and our commerce of this great country.

Do you think that it is possible that they outsourced? And that compromised the security of our information?

I agree that this is a form of enslavement.

We generally use cash for everything, but had this Pay Pal card specifically for online ebay purchases.
