The Sprint Xperience

I don't know if this just picked me out of the crowd or if this is happening (or will be happening) to other's trying to get onto the SERO program at Sprint, but here it is for what it's worth.

That's about what I'd expect from a company that cancels the accounts of customers who complain too much about the lousy service they're getting.I't's a new policy they've started and they've already bounced over 1000 unsatisfied customers.Strange idea of customer support they have there!

Fuzzilla01 is infamous around these parts
As it happens I'm up for renewall & a big phone credit. I have had issues with Sprint but nothing major, my only annoyance is they want a new 2 year to change anything on your account. IMHO clarity is great (Treo 600), towers are well placed though a bit thin, but though I'm well traveled I've only had one dropped call in 2 1/2 yrs. of service. At the time of purchase they were the only carrier to offer Unlimited Data & Unlimited Text for flat fees. However, I admit I haven't looked at plans in some time.

I'd be interested in others good or bad experiences before renewing, anyone care to share? TIA

Thanks frostbitetwice, but I still give the RIAA the vote for the worst! What a bummer, though. I was really looking forward to my PPC 6800. And two in a row, as I returned my Ocean since it was way too buggy. But Helio's customer service was fantasic. I almost felt bad returning it they were so nice...whereas with Sprint I just hated having to give up my 6800 and pull the ripcord. I can't justify continuing with them if this is how we're going to start off.

Looks like I'll just hang loose with T-Mobile for a while, out of contract, worn out phone, and the bitter taste that remains from the $250 rebates I never received and am now involved in a class action lawsuit for.

I'm getting so sick of the way "business" is being done so commonly. It's getting way to hard too get what you paid for in this country.

Well said, michaels. Master Jon, my experience with Print was nothing short of HELL. They are rude, crude and uncaring. Dealing with them is like having a very bad case of constipation. I think their customer disservice staff are prison inmates and hence the "excellent service."

Wow, that's horrible, and not at all surprising.

My business partner worked for Sprint for a while and then he worked for Nextel for a bit (which is sprint now). Nextel gives big commissions to salespeople for phone plans and then take the money back away from them if people cancel or stop paying.

They have high pressure management and unreal quotas for most people to meet unless they are real high octane sales.

Anyway, one salesman was ordering plans for companies without their knowledge and having the phones shipped to him at the office and was hiding them in a closet to make quota. He was eventually fired and they didn't know it until someone was looking for something one day and opened the closet and it was full of cell phones. LOL
