ETech4Sale: Scam Store!

Hi folks,
I'd like to take a moent to tell you about my first, & last, experience with ETech4Sale.

On 6/3/07 I (thought I had) ordered one Antec P182SE limited edition PC case with Stainless Steel exterior panels & an all-black interior from ETech4Sale.com. Here is a link to the page of the case posted at ETech4Sale.com:

When the case arrived I found I had been shipped a standard P182 with Gun Metal exterior panels & an unpainted interior. I phoned Customer Service and spoke with a rep who said:
"We shipped you what you ordered. Read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page. Anything else sir?"
I then asked why the description of the P182SE was listed under the sales page for the standard P182 & was told:
Because that is the most accurate description we could find.

It took a frighteningly long 20 seconds for me to Google& click on the link. Hey what the heck, here's a link to Antec's page for the P182SE I thought I was buying from ETech4Sale.com:

While I admit I should have been cautious to the letter of the law , & I did read ETech4Sale.com's disclaimer/warranty/return policies prior to purchase, the description posted at ETech4Sale.com is for the P182SE. Combine that with the ease & availability of the proper description from the Antec website for the P182 ETech4Sale.com offers & three words come to mind:

BAIT AND SWITCH
I've given my evidence, I invite you to be your own judge.

Since they only offer exchange or (at ETech4Sale's descretion) store credit I now own a standard P182. Luckily it is in good condition & is not a lemon.

So I'd like to advise anyone to call ETech4Sale.com prior to purchasing anything from them to verify the item by the SKU number, or just avoid them alltogether. At any rate I hope this will help someone.

Dear Fuzzilla01, we regret that we were not able to deliver the product you expected. One of our vendors, who adds items to our website, mistakenly put the wrong description and picture for that item. When we talked to you about this we offered you a full refund for the product and for return shipping, you declined and here is an excerpt from the email you sent us in response to our offer for a full refund.

EDIT: Email response was from a different customer who had the same e situation as you, but our offer for a full refund still stands.

He was in the same boat as you and we offered him the same thing we offered you (and everyone else when a mistake like this happens) which is a full refund (incl original/return shipping, this offer still stands btw). Mistakes happen and we were willing to make things right, but you turned down our offer. This email, although not from you, proves that we are committed to helping our customers when mistakes happen, in his situation he was happy with what he got, in your situation you might want to return it and go elsewhere to buy the case you want. In the end we want you to be satisfied, and so in addition to the refund stated above we will give you 10% of your next order, to compensate you for the trouble youve gone through so far. Fuzzilla01, I would point out that scammers are not usually members of the Better Business Bureau with a satisfactory record either.

Anyone can garner a satisfactory rating with the BBB simply by making any attempt, strong or weak, to offer a solution. It carries little weight as businesses can prolong debate forever and still be rated satisfactory by the BBB.

As for the supposed email reply it is a fruad. I have, in fact, at no time ever contacted ETech4Sale via email.
Take a look at my vocabulary and usage. Do you really think I would write something like that? Besides, I can at least spell "token".

Post on this forum, in this thread, that you will refund, in full, the total cost of the purchase price, the shipping cost to me that I paid, and cover the return shipping cost for the case and we have a deal. After the way I was treated over the phone by your rep, and the fake email response you are posting on my behalf, those are my terms.

This was our original offer, and is what we offer every customer when a mistake like this happens. Like i said before please contact us via phone 18007757706 so we can make things right.

Frostbitetwice, Not sure as to why, but Fuzzilla01's review of etech4sale has been pulled.

I would hazard a guess as it may have violated this from the WEB SITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE AGREEMENT

(3) All Enthusiast, Inc. is presented with a settlement agreement, resolving a dispute between the poster and any third party(ies) complaining about the posting, mandating that the posting be removed;

Point is :
