Master nomaxin, I was not aware of that term. Frankly, this company rating is below my personal standards, however, they appear sincere in resolving this matter, which IMHO is a large +. I would also like to add that it is unfair to call this company, Etech4Sale, a "Scam Store". We posters must be very careful when using that word or else it will become meaningless.

However, for the record, you never offered me any refund or offered to allow me to return the case. The statement I was given by your rep was that I had received exactly what I had purchased and there was no reason to offer any return. She was extremely apathetic. These are the reasons I gave you such a disfavorable review.

And hey folks, I didn't come here to rant a beef with ETech4Sale, I came here to share a totally truthful experience. I have not falsified or embellished anything I have stated.

Fuzzilla, I think the store maybe coming clean because you did this thread on them. I would not have purchased from this company due to their ratings. It is sad that you had to do a thread to get satisfaction.

FWIW, the rating was not polled (oops) pulled. I replied to ETech4Sale.com's reply, and it looks like each time there is an edit the review is rechecked before it goes back up. I'm thinking this is a safety measure of ResellerRatings.com. For those interested it is again available.

After much consideration, I do not feel I can trust ETech4Sale for a refund, I have read here that some have never received a full refund offered to them, others have products in limbo, and so on. They have been untruthful about the original offer to refund my money. They have posted a false email reply on my behalf and then posted a retraction to it. They have corrected the description of the item in question (it must have somehow become much easier to find). For a business they sure make a lot of "mistakes".
Based upon that I have decided to have no further contact with the business other than through the BBB. I will not be calling them, the issue is not the return of the case, the issue is deceptive marketing & unethical business practice. I am going to allow the BBB to resolve the matter. After the resolution I'll be back here, but until then I probably should not discuss the matter further.

Thanks to everyone for your comments (good or bad) on the matter. If I had found ResellerRatings.com first I would not have made the purchase, so IMHO ResellerRatings.com is of benefit to others.

Hi folks,

I thought I'd post a follow up. ETech4Sale offered a refund through the BBB, which I declined, since I've read of folks who never received one after returning items. The BBB did not adress the issue of the misleading description, and have closed the case. IMHO this is a shame as there are plenty of complaints about ETech4Sale.com. My request to the BBB was that they close the business, so return of the case offered no satisfaction. Especially after the email stunt they pulled here and the lie about the "original offer to refund..." I feel they should be closed, but that is a lofty goal.

Cheers to the folks here & to ResellerRatings.com for allowing this thread, BizRate will not allow a negative review of ETech4Sale.com. I've tried twice, including one very generic writeup. Guess they own stock or something.

For anyone looking to do business with ETech4Sale, my advice would be to spend a few bucks more & do business with a more reliable merchant.

I hope this helps someone else down the road.

Ya BBB is mostly worthless, although it at least gives you a measure of how many complaints they have received. Every complained is closed if the merchant makes any effort to reply to them.

I do agree that etech4sale are scammers'. Mr. Loius and Adam Stokke are th big guys behind it.

I wired transfered fee for an order i made to them last year 2008 with my customer id 8788410.

Below is a summary for this complain:

The ORDER #8788410, Date and Time: 10/29/2008 8:46:33 AM costing $1115.05. An amount of $1200.00 was wired on 31/10/08 to etech4sale.com Inc. once they cash the money, Loius the president claimed the item was on back order; when my brother requested a refund and started calling and emailing them, they don don’t answer. Since last year, my brother is been following them for refund and they don’t even response.

Details information on the order:


ORDERED PRODUCTS:

The ORDER #8788410, Date and Time: 10/29/2008 8:46:33 AM

1) eTrex Vista Cx Handheld GPS System [ SKU: MA-010-00439-00, Qty: 3, Price: $228.55 ]
