Can I beleive everypricedotcom reviews?

I had a bad experience with DigitalNerds.com. I put in an order and a guy called me immediately and tried to sell me a larger battery and would include a free case and kept pressuring me to do the deal and even came down $20. In the course of our phone interaction he kept leaving the line and coming back to pressure me for a few more seconds and leaving again. Finally it came out that the site was selling a Canon ZR700 refurbished and not advertising it as such. I said to cancel the order and he hung up on me. I called back to make sure it was cancelled and he said "I cancelled it. What didn't you understand?" and hung up again.
We need to look out for one another in this internet world where anyone can put up a site and scam away.

Just about when I though I'd seen everything Everyprice.com has Techondigital with a 5 star rating and also a featured seller. Good God what is this world coming to. 4103 reviews and I couldn't find any negative.

I too wondered about the 100% positive reviews. I tried to submit a negative review and could not figure out how to "break the code" on how to get into the review process. It made me think the reviews were bogus. I wish I had researched this company before I purchsed the camera I bought. I was not given what was promised and was contacted by the company for cross selling overpriced items to go with the camera. I sadly bought the item. I have learned a lesson.

BEWARE - This is a BAIT AND SWITCH Company


After making your purchase you will get a email from techondigital.com asking you to call xxx-xxx-xxxx which are all again different numbers stating: Please call (john doe) from our order confirmation department at ext: xxx to confirm your order.

Once you do that then the FUN BEGINS - the sells person (john doe) will tell you that the item you just purchased for $$$ was (GREY MARKET PRODUCT) - which means in the encyclopedia grey market is the trade of something legal through unofficial, unauthorized, unintended distribution channels. In contrast, black market refers to goods and services that are illegal in themselves and/or distributed through illegal channels. The two main types of grey market are imported manufactured goods that would be normally unavailable or more expensive in a certain country and unissued securities that aren't yet traded in official markets.)

Then he ask you if you would like the American Version of this product - which will cost you an extra $$$. Don't even try talking about it to the sells person - he DOES NOT CARE - he will then asks you Do You Want It or Not??? (Of course you want it - if you did not want it you wouldn't have bought it.)
BAM your price $$$ just went up... so much for the savings you just thought you got from buying from these guys - They just got you... BAIT and SWITCH

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and GO and Buy from Someone Else - Dont be a FOOL like I Was... I have learned from my mistake this time...
