My daughter (yep im blaming her...lol) asked me to order a skin for her new cell phone from
www.skinit.com. The local cell phone provider gave her the site so i figured it was safe. I ordered on 5-19 charge was done on 5-21.
It says 5 to 10 days for delivery so we waited. After 14 business days my daughter asked me to call them and see why it hasnt come yet and me being the good dad gave her the phone # and said you need to do it. So she did but i was at work and figured id call them just in case. The excuse i got was they had no idea what happened. I had paid with a cc thru paypal (ewww).
They told me they would check and get back with me well i waited a day then emailed them 2 time in 2 days with no reply.
The excuse they gave my daughter was it broke when they made it so they had to make another.
I called back while i was looking at the recipt and asked the guy who is global transfer he said it was their parent company so i called the phone number and it was wow paypal and they said they didnt own it. I called back talked to the same guy who told me that he didnt say that in the first place. This is where it went downhill, I really dont like being called a liar so i asked him to ask the other rep to verify that he told me and this is where he slipped up and said i know i didnt say it. So in 37 years of owning a cc this is my second charge back. My order still says pending even though i was assured that it was the highest piority to ship it today therefore the chargeback.
Just a friendly warning to others even when everything looks good still be alert and careful i am now trying to get the site added so i might leave a reveiw.
