AVA Direct

I have been looking at Ava Direct reviews on this site and they look mighty impressive. I can get stuff I'd like on my next computer. I was hoping somebody who has recently bought a computer from Ava Direct would send me a picture of their computer so I can see how neat the build is.

I'd especially like a picture of a rig with the Lian LI Memorial PC 777 case and 8800 GTX video card.

Please PM me

Thanks

I haven't ordered mine yet,I'm waiting for the price cuts on Intel's Quad Core cpu's in July, but it will definitely be from AVAdirect. If you want to see some of their systems and more testamonials to their work, check out the forums at www.hardocp.com ,especially the "Computers and Gadgets" forum.
Just to give you an idea of their work, this is one of the extreme gaming systems a forum member there had built at Ava.

Great looking case Michael ! That liquid cooled case must of cost a fortune. Let me guess, I would say it is $2900 dinars ?

The case is a Silverstone TJ07,but the owner had it modded with windows and watercooling for just about every component.I think the final cost of the whole system was in the $6000 range, but he got multiple hard drives,a 680i Striker motherboard,4 MB's of ram,a Quad core 6700 CPU,and dual 8800GTX graphic cards for that.Someday when I'm rich,I'd like a system like that!

Thanks for the heads up I went to that website and saw pics of his gaming computer very nice. I'm waiting to get approval to post on that site its been a few days already. I'm definately going to buy from AVA Direct though.

I'm waiting for

1. Vista Ultimate 64 bit and a least a SP or two.
2. A newer Video Card
3. Faster CPU's
4. Of course I need to save money anyways.

Good call on waiting for on Vista, still a lot of problems to be fixed with it.If you want a faster CPU and save money as well,I'd wait until after July 22,when Intel is making big cuts on their prices. The Quad core 6600 I'm waiting for is over $500 now, after the cuts it will be around $260.

I'm lucky I don't have the money now anyway for the new rig so I'm sure new cheaper chips and video cards will be out by the time I place an order.

When do you think Vista will come out with a SP?

Michaels39 What case and rig are you going to buy? Do you like the 8800 GTX series at all? Are you going Vista 64 or staying XP or whatever?

It'll probably be a few months before a SP is released.Much as I'm tempted to go with Vista because of DX10,there just seems to be too many bugs and driver problems now,so I'll probably go with XP Pro for now and upgrade later.
As for the case, probably the Antec 900,nice looking, reasonably priced, and it has a great cooling system. The motherboard will be the eVGA 680i SLI A1 with an Intel Quad Core 6600 and 2 mb's 1066 ram, probably Corsair Dominators. If the price comes down by July,I'll go with the eVGA 8800GTX,if not, then I'll get the 640mb 8800GTS.

How long does it take to get activated to post on this site? I registered days ago and nothing so far?
