Well I made the plunge and ordered a rig from AVA and got it 8 days ago. I've had no issues except dvd drives unplugged via shipping no biggie. I'm very happy with it so far I'll keep you posted.

I like these I7 rigs 30 in monitors are sweet too. I wish you luck with your rig when you get it from MF.

I don't want to jinx lafguy00,but I hope his experience with AVA ends better than this poster in a new thread over at HardForum.
My AVADirect Experience - [H]ard|Forum
The thing that pretty much cements my decision not to go with AVA for a new system is how they handled this customer's refund. How can they justify charging a 15% restocking fee for a defective system still under warranty? And then making the customer pay the $200 shipping fee to return it to boot!

Lafguy I am really floored you bought from them after this thread. Sadly while I hope you get a good working computer out of the deal I will have no sympathy anymore for anyone that buys from them when things go bad....

That new thread is totally 100% par for the course with AVA... Lie to you,get you to do unneeded stuff, and then take weeks and weeks to not get you a working computer...

You guys forget I fought with them for almost 2 years and never did get any resolution... I finally parted their piece of **** out and bought a new HP.

I am even more floored that after all the digging I have done to prove that AVA has fabricated reviews and coerced reviews etc... It appears that Lara and crew here dont care.... Hell not even the acknowledged 100% fabricated(admited from a AVA employee in an open thread several times) hasnt even been flagged or removed or anything...... Guess this site isnt about protecting the consumer and IMHO its credability and rellavance is shot unless they take SOME kinda of action. Do we really need another Monarch Computers on our hands?

Someone even removed my thread that was titled AVA fabricates resellereviews.com ratings..... Guess its all about the money AVA pays to get into all the special programs but I cant support a site that promotes someone scamming.Sadly I think I am done with Resellerratings.com after all this....

How about Vigor Gaming?

I don't know much about AVA Direct, nor about the implicated review fabrication. However, I know that I had great experience with another system builder, Vigor Gaming. You can check them out...they don't have that many reviews, which led me to believe that they are much more reliable and straight from their customers. Check them out yourselve and make your decision. I don't think you will regret it...

Pretty good ratings, systems seem decent for the price. The same can be said for Maingear.Puget Computers is considered the top builder by many, but their prices are very high.I chose MaxForce PC for three reasons - though they have few reviews here, they're getting great word of mouth reviews by a growing number of customers in various forums, they offer a huge amount of customization options including overclocking and many more component choices than the others, and their prices are great.I like their warranty as well, three years on the complete system, they pay all shipping on RMA's,and if an individual part has a longer manufacturers warranty than three years, they handle the RMA for you for the length of that warranty.

I am not talking about that thread Tanaka.... I am talking about basically the exact same thread that I made here.... Once I realized AVA was fabricating the reviews I cut/pasted that hard forum post to here in another thread... That thread has since been deleted...

Resellerratings has allowed AVAdirect to get away with posting fradulent reviews with AVAdirect admitting it themselves.... To me that makes this site useless... Its all about Lara and her crew paying the bills... Sorry but thats the only way I can see things...

Fraudulent reviews are allowed to stand with nothing to indicate they are shams..... Review bribery/coercion has been documented in at least two reviews... How can resellerratings defend this?!?! They cant... And honestly I am done here.. Site is worthless IMHO....
