The Merg is on a distinguished road
Well, I went on-line to Amazon and found a paior of Muck boots for sale by UbeatableSales. As soon as I clicked on the size, it displayed my price as $62.16 + $38.09 for shipping, although the shipping amount was in a light grey color. When I continued to my shopping cart, it accurately showed my order amount of $62.16 and the shipping charge of $38.09 for a total of $98.25.

Again, while I think that they are treating you unfairly, I think that you might have a hard time getting your money back. Good luck though.

- Merg

Merg, I bought the boots at Amazon using the 'Buy with 1-Click' option, so I never did access my shopping cart. So, I did not see the shipping charges. Thanks for the help, and wish me luck with these unethical, nasty merchants. Hard way to learn a lesson - no more '1-Click' for me!

unreliable reseller

I placed an order for some Windows Server 2008 software. Instead of what I ordered as described on the web page, they sent a package with license for 5 user CALs. I called to get this corrected, and the customer service agent tried to argue that the part where it said:

"Requirements Min Processor Required : Intel x86 - 1 GHz LicenseLicense
Pricing : Standard License Type : License and Media License Qty : 1 server 5 user CALs"

meant that this item required the server and 5 user cals.

This is an impossible argument to make. Each item is distinct and the ad is saying

Pricing: Standard
License Type: License and Media
License Qty: 1 server, 5 user CALs

After three business days the customer service supervisor finally spoke with her warehouse and was told that the order should have included the server and user CAL licenses, a COA and media. So a replacement order was overnighted to me. What arrived was again, a 5 user CAL to add to an existing server. I notified their agent of this second erroneous shipment, and the response I received was to the effect of: oh, we sent what you ordered, 5 user CALs. If you want the server, you have to order part number xxxxx. Oh, and we are out of that. We will arrange return of the items you were sent.

I went back to their website to check my order status, and wouldn't you know it: my order is no longer in their system. I do, however have a copy of the web page as both a soft copy and hard copy. Even as I write this, the web page is still there, still saying what I pasted above.

Customer Service rating: 0
Reliability: 0
Interest in making right their mistake: 0
Overall Satisfaction: 0

I feel for you - I had problems with them a year ago with sending me unusable software and never did get them to send the correct version, nor give me a refund. It's amazing that in a recessionary climate, companies with zero customer service last like this...

Buyer Beware!

I wish I would have seen this prior to making a purchase with this shady business. I purchased two baby items and when they only shipped one (for $13.50 regular shipping) I made them aware only to be told that if I want the other item I have to pay another $13.50 in shipping!! I spoke with several people who gave the same story...stunning! How can this place still be in business?!
