newegg screen product reviews tooooo ?

before this question, I must say I love newegg.com NEWEGG ROCKIN!!
one of the reasons is unlike some other small online fisher, you can find all kinds of product reviews; from 1 star to 5 star (of course, with proper language). I can tell from other's advice if it's a GO for me.
it's questionable now...
I was shopping for a Power supply unit yesterday, reading reviews of one specific model. saw two negative feedbacks posted at lunch time ... when I checked back at night after work, guess what? they are gone !! all I can read is "GOOD PRICE .." "GOOD QUALITY .." etc, etc.
does anybody have the same experience? anybody knows how newegg people determine which post to leave and which to kill?
million thanks

If this is true and several others have complained about this happening, then egger is just undermining its reviews. Besides, if all reviews are nothing but positive, I would think that an intelligent person would poo-poo them all.

Before this starts AGAIN...lol the best thing to do is go to neweggs site and read the terms of service on reveiws. I do know if you submit a bad reveiw that it wont show up for awhile so i know they go thru them. I also know or think i know they use a keyword checker. In other words if you use certain words like shi@ and so on it wont post till newegg has a chance to look at it which makes sense.

I myself have left a few bad reveiws on products and they showed and the last time i looked they were still there. Only 2 times did my reveiw never post and i couldnt figure out why no foul language, was to the point about certain facts that werent in the description. Like i bought a x1600 pro video card and in the pic it showed 2 dvi connectores when it came it only had 1 and a vga so i posted that others might know about it, That reveiw never showed up and i posted it 2 times in 4 days thinking it was a glitch. By the way has anyone read the part where it says never to make a purchase decision using the reveiws.

NewEgg ROCKS!

I love NewEgg and have ordered many items over the years with no problems whatsoever. I intend to keep up a good thing. NEWEGG ROCKS!

I like Newegg too, but every company has some level of 'trimming' to entice the "buy click". It would behoove NE to delete posts where users say "this item was crap. It wasn't what I expected. Stay away from brand XXXX!" This helps no one and clogs their review system as well as keeps users that have two tenths of an idea what they are looking for BEFORE they purchase an item on the leary side and discourages purchases for those users that would be very happy with the item.
No system is perfect, but it's in Newegg's best interest to keep everyone focused on why they SHOULD buy from NE and WHICH item is the right one, vs. shopping elsewhere
