BestBuy.com ... worse deal ever!

Recently I saw that BestBuy was offering a sale on CDs in a reseller ratings daily email. The sale was 2 CDs for $15. The selection wasn't too great, but I happened to actually see 2 CDs I had planned on purchasing so I took the deal. The order was placed on March 1, 2007 and was claimed to have shipped that date as well. There was a tracking number provided with the USPS, but it came up as no information associated with this number. I personally know that no continental delivery takes over 7 business days regardless of rate code! The only thing I can think is that since Best Buy is one of the most expensive resellers, they had to cut costs and hire bums to walk their packages out! Regardless of what they offer, this is the first and last time I will order something from BestBuy.com...I will pay the extra couple of bucks and get it from CD Universe or somewhere that doesn't take 2 weeks to ship things.

Curious, did you followup with Best Buy customer relations? If the package never shipped, you are entitled to a refund.

In regards to the "big box" electronics retailers, it is oftentimes a better idea to buy online for in-store pickup where available, especially if it is something you really want ASAP.

Their retail stores are fine, however, their etail is plain old bad.
