Vigor Gaming

Sorry I have been away from the boards.. but I have been playing with my new toy! After reading the reviews on Vigor gaming I made the plunge on feb 9 and ordered a Recon Force QXN with all the goodies I wanted, it arrived on Feb 28 and I have been in heaven ever since

I finally submitted my review tonight so you should see it in a couple days.

If you don't have the time or patience to sit down and build it yourself, I really do think Vigor gives the best bang for your buck.

So far no issues at all with the 8800 GTX 768MB vid card, I had read some gaming forums and had some doubts about ordering that but I did anyway, sure glad I did.

ONLY IMPROVEMENT VIGOR NEEDS:

Communication! I never heard a peep from them until I got my shipping confirmation. I wasn't alarmed however because I read through the reviews on reselllers and that seemed to be the only reason for lowered ratings, was lack of communication or sending out the computer past the build date. I was prepared to wait in silence

All in all, I am extremely happy woman with her new toy!

The going rate for the 8800GTX is around $560.But it's the king of the hill among video cards right now.

Yes it was expensive, but imho well worth it, running games in extreme graphics without so much as a stutter is ecstacy!

build included 2.67 duo core
2 X 150 gb raptor's raid 0
320 gb sata II hd
4 gb corsair 1066 ram
and of course my kool video card

*no frostie, you can't come over n' play wi' it!

Just curious, does your system have Vista installed,or XP? I've been hearing a lot of complaints from users and builders that Vista creates a lot of problems, especially with things like drivers for video and audio cards.

as an avid gamer, no way, Vista is too buggy and I see no benefits to ever loading that on either of my systems.

XP pro 4 teh win

Smart move, from what I've seen so far,Vista is nothing but trouble. One local builder I know stopped installing it altogether, said he was swamped with support calls because the drivers and compatability problems were so bad.
