sorry - i left out the obvious fact that NewEgg has no record of receipt for my RMA... Though I made wrote the RMA out on several faces of the box in addition to having it printed on the shipping label...

as was said before....call up and ask for jason. Wait for him if you have to. That guy is the MAN. if he's not management there yet he should be! I had an issue before and the same thing happened..i posted a bad review...i was contacted by him and we squared everything away, he cross shipped the new part to me over night and gave me an extra $50 in store credit to make up for the hassle and time it took to get the new part! Well above and beyond the call of duty. Give that guy a call and he'll help you as best he can! Don't forget..their page warns you ahead of time that they couldn't take that tv back yet talking to the right csr they're still helping you out. They just gave my friend a full refund on a video card that's a year old (now he gets to buy a much nicer/newer one for same price cus it's been a year!). Their customer support is amazing if you get a good csr....if you don't...call back a few times. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get a decent person..but you know what i do? call..take the name...if they're a jerk i say bye...call back and repeat till i find someone decent...then i resolve the issue and say hey..by the way...can i talk to your manager....hi mr manager...i just talked to x. he was great...he deserves a raise....I'll deff be buying with you again. If i was to base my decision on customer service reps a, b, and c I'd never shop here again...i'd have a talk with them! you guy to pay back the guy who helps you out and give newegg a little feedback to hopefully get rid of their idiot customer service reps. The company on a whole seems eager to please but like any workplace sometimes you end up with idiots working for you. Help them help you by letting them know which of their employees suck! lol

Yep, Jason really is a good guy to talk to when you have a problem with other CSRs. It seems most of their normal CSRs don't give a crud, but Jason takes pride in his work. He's the guy who's kept me shopping at Newegg.

I did not have to call Jason - he contacted me. And yes, he went above and beyond, and needless to say - I am extremely happy with NewEgg once again, and they will continue to get my business. Its nice to have a direct contact there now in the event of future issues. I do make a fair amount of purchases from them.

I even agree there jason is a good csr but again not all csr that work there are near as good or care as much. As for the owner of newegg i am sure all he is worried about is profit and not customers or he would change the way they rip people off for shipping.

I have had the very similar situation of spending weeks and months emailing a CSR who didn't seem to give a crap, then leaving a bad review, then having Jason save the day.

I am still a bit disappointed that it took a bad review to do that and I am still a little disappointed that the customer service is not what it was when I first started ordering from them. I still order from there but I shop around first.
