This almost turned into a [cough] *lashdot moment with a peanut gallery of opinions and no real facts just slanderings. I agree with the Administrator, it is not uncommon for companies to share suppliers (aka warehouses) not every company is Walmart who own practically every step of their business process.

I believe the poster was referring to the multiple baseless accusations against ResellerRatings. Probably isn't a good idea to make public accusations with absolutely no facts to back them up, but since we're good sports we decided to simply reply to those accusations and state the facts rather than delete the false statements and take further action.

Slander is verbal defamation while Liable is written defamation.

Someone would have to claim you did something illegal or claim a person has a disease like Aids to get anywhere in a defamation case. Then you would still have to prove that the person knows what they are saying is false. If a person believes it is true or claims insanity, good luck with a defamation suit.

They wouldn't have to say we did something illegal, they'd only have to say something untrue that could have damaged our reputation, which they did. In any case, this thread is going nowhere and is now closed.
