buy.com buyer beware!

REF: SOVA Digital LCD TV, model DSV32P112. Verbiage copied from another forum: "Yes, I believe Buy.com does suck. This SOVA (discontinued LCD TV) was their deal of the day for Feb. 24, 2007. I almost bit but luckily came across a forum and realized it was a bad deal. Sorry, but support does matter and I'm not shelling out $520 for an unsupported TV no matter how good it may be. I hope those that have purchase this dog have good luck with it but let's be honest and admit they are trying to rationalize their poor decision by saying that it is sooooooo good. I learned a valuable lesson today and want to provide the following RED flags that i realized today: (1) Buy.com was the only retailer of this product (2) any time they state there are absolutely no returns that is a bad sign; quote:"NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS PRODUCT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS PRODUCT CAN ONLY BE RETURNED FOR REPAIR OR EXCHANGE." (3) i could not find any remnants of the sovadigital.com web site and that bothered me (4) the supposed warranty is provided by a third party with no relationship to the OEM; how can that be good...Bottom line: I'm glad i didn't jump on this turkey of a deal.
