sinistergrim,
I saw that a few hours ago when Morgan123 sent me that address. Unfortunately, we have no idea how old that shot is, the lack of snow tells me it is at least a few months old. (Another example is the house I grew up in was torn down three years ago but Google Earth took two years to show that). Go figure. I'd also point out that the two address's we have are only 6.8 miles apart. The USPS does verify that the address that you sent money to is a real mailing address.
Anyway, based on the current reviews (6) with a rating of 0.42/10 with only one that seems too have gotten anything. I'd suggest that you all follow up with the BBB complaints, that will at least advise other consumers about this company. In addition I'd file complaints with the Colorado Attorney General at 303-866-5189 or the Arapahoe County Sheriff at 303-795-4711. I would also give them both address's;
17664 E JAMISON AVE
CENTENNIAL CO 80016-1813
(Listed with the BBB and the State of Colorado.)
21942 E JAMISON PL
AURORA, CO 80016-7153
(Where you all sent money too.)
Make sure that you keep any records, correspondence (including the headers for e-mails), canceled checks, receipts, etc. Print it all out and put it in a file somewhere. You never know what the police may want.
Good Luck

I called the residence of Brian's "parents" and told them of my intention to speak with the country authorities on the Flawless Computer fraud. His mom said she would speak with her husband and get back to me tomorrow. Shortly after the call finished up, I recieved the following email from Brian:
Flawless Computers, LLC is undergoing financial trouble and a formal statement will be sent to all pending orders. It is not for sure yet, but most likely the business will be filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. If you have paid for your order already you must file a civil suit to get reimbursed. However, again, this is only if Bankruptcy is filed and is not yet sure.
Comments? Obviously we are now going through with the filing of the lawsuit, which has already been submitted to colorado authorities/BBB/Ic3 and we are arranging a meeting with our lawyer tomorrow.

It was also an old tactic of Monarch Computer. After that scandel,I look on any new vendor with a certain amount of skepticism and look for warning signs.Something about Flawless just set off alarms with me.
Just checked the reviews, what happened there? Is this a repeat of the false positive reviews that Monarch pulled a while back? This gets stranger all the time.

As far as reviewers go,the only one who has reviewed Flawless here that I've seen posting about them is tickle_me_emo,he only did a review post here but I recall him recommending them in posts over at [H]ard Forum. | yeah that's me, i feel bad about recommending flawless at the [H]ard forum, I wonder if i should make a thread telling people about it? And the reason why I promoted Flawless so hard, was because he offered $ if you got a person to buy from him. I know I got at least 1 person to buy from Flawless, but the couple times I asked him about it, he ignored it. So after I realized he wasn't going to go through with it i limited my praise.
My praise was not unfounded though, he answered all my e-mails in under an hour and I was able to get ahold of him on the phone easily. He even gave me free bluetooth too. So I rated him highly. As it got into late Jan/early Feb, his e-mail response time was slipping. Two weeks ago, I RMA'd for a wireless card, and he hasn't given me a shipping # yet, and I guess I know why...
This was my first review, since i rarely buy stuff online. So I guess that's why my review was deleted? Although Brian did offer people $15 to write a review, and he actually gave me $15 back on my CC. So that's why I finally buckled down and signed up and wrote a review. I'm starting to wonder if Powernotebook also pays people to write reviews. How do they have so many compared to the other sager resellers?
This sucks that it has to go down like that. I thought his insanely low prices were because of a promotion, I guess he went to low and had to raise prices later and then float on the customers' money.
I guess next time before I purchase from a relatively new company, I should google map their address.
I just wanted to say my review was legit, but I am a bit ashamed that I actually got people to buy from this company.
Edit just fyi, i go by rickster on the 2 notebook forums

Welcome to RR and thanks for the info. "(15) The posting was written or altered in exchange for the offer of monetary consideration, whether in the form of goods, services, or monies."
Your review was in violation of this policy, therefore, Brain himself invalidated it by paying you. Likely the same for the others. And if the review about withholding a refund to get a bad review pulled is true (nothing against the reviewer but that's up to a jury to decide), Brain may also be facing criminal charges. That's up to the authorities in Colorado.

Talking to alot of other people that are waiting for there money and computers. He just sends certain people emails it seems like. Trying to get people to back down? Just curious if he actually tried to go threw with his "complaint" or whatever it was against reseller ratings that he posted on all are reviews lastnight.

| He emailed us (ResellerRatings) on 2/27, 2/28, 3/1, and we received 41 total emails from him since August 7, 2006.

Subject: RE: Urgent
I don’t understand the way some people’s minds work. It’s a joke really. It just seems like common sense to have one, and only one, survey from the beginning. Not one that is too long which people don’t want to fill out. Not two different surveys to add inconsistency to ratings. Not “grayed out” ratings under 20 reviews that still show a number even though they might be “inaccurate”.
Yes, more people will leave reviews now. It’s about time someone figured this out! The same survey for all businesses and all questions mandatory! If it were me who designed the system, I would have thought this up in the back of my head subconsciously without having to think. I am 22 years old and own 3 businesses. Maybe I’m just a bit more advanced than most people. The more I encounter problematic businesses, the more my pride goes up. I feel like God when I deal with businesses that can’t get it right from the beginning and can’t cover angles until they’ve run into a problem.
In no way I’m referring to your business. It’s obvious RR has become a success. I’m speaking in general reference to businesses that do these things over and over again. DHL who can’t handle packages properly, UPS who manages to lose packages left and right. I’m just fed up with people who can’t do the simplest things without screwing something up.
Don’t you think it would be fair to have all reviewers get the option to redo their ratings? Now over 10,000 businesses are stuck with ratings that grew on an inconsistent system.
I have explained the situation in an email to “jubsee” and have asked that he increase the ratings now that I am stuck with 7.50 FOREVER (2 reviews have been left since you changed to the new rating system and they still remain at 7.50, so no, I don’t see it increasing by more reviews). Is he able to change the ratings? Or just the written review?
Thanks
Brian Smith

Admin, is there anyway you can help us contact John Catolonotto, the one who wrote the review that Brian tried to bribe him? I can talk to you through PMs if you want about it (In fact I would prefer if you sent me your answer through PMs).
