PlasmaBay.com Are Liars

I just wanted to warn people about buying anything from http://plasmabay.com/

They are liars and will do nothing to help you if you have a problem with a defective product. Do not believe anything they tell you on the phone regarding this, because it is just a tactic to get you to buy or get you off the phone and in hopes you will go away.

I will be posting more about this and a review all in good time, but right now it is best to refrain from giving out more information until after my dispute has been settled.

I can tell you that this has been going on since late November and have talked to them several times and they have done nothing to keep their word and do what is right, so I have taken this matter into my own hands.

Hopefully it won't involve a lawyer, but I have one waiting in the wings if it does.

Waiting to hear the details, Cornstalk. A dispute that is three months in the running is not a good sign. GL.

Well I talked to AMEX about this back in January and they put a suspension on the amount so I would not have to pay it off and it would not incur any interest. Apparently they made an inquire to them on my behalf and they never responded to them.

Now the amount has been reversed and they have about a couple of weeks to respond again or it is a permanent charge-back.

I have a feeling they will not respond to it and I know why. I will leave that until later until I can verify it.

Still no updates from AMEX. The clock is ticking...

My phone rang today while I was using it and I didn't answer. Then my cell phone rang and I didn't answer that. 15 minutes later my cell phone rang again and lo and behold it was PlasmaBay.com wanting to know if I want a refund or a replacement.

BWAHAHAHAHAH

I reamed the guy on the phone and told him, "yeah now you call after the funds have been reversed!" I also told him I wanted a refund but they would have to pay me to carry this upstairs and pack it up. He said they would send someone to actually carry it up and box it for me.

Boy do they suck.

I have not heard anything back from Plasma Bay about my "refund" or scheduling someone to haul this boat anchor off.

I wonder what the point of that last phone call was all about?

I have yet to get Sharp to honor their warranty on this TV, although there are many people that have had the same problem with this model and they replaced their TV already.

I guess Sharp got tired of honoring their warranty.

Just wondering if we're going to get the details of this issue. You've alluded to the TV being a Sharp and that Sharp and PlasmaBay.com won't fix it. How about some specifics? That might help those of us that have similar items or similar experiences with these companies.
