POLL:Do you trust online computer vendors

For those who have followed the Monarch Computer debacle here and at other forums,a simple question.Has Monarch's misconduct affected your trust and willingness to deal with online computer vendors?Do you find yourself researching a vendor much more thoroughly than before?

No. You are always going to have worms in the apple cart.

I continue to trust Newegg, Zipzoomfly, and just a few others.

I have never purchased from Monarch either. I buy from Newegg and I love the service and prices.

No I never used them. Even if I did and they screwed me it would not make me stop shopping for computer stuff online.

If I stopped shopping online because of them, I would never go into a store again after CompUSA tried to rip me off!

Comp is not price competitive on prices lower than $50 bucks

I wouldn't know, haven't been in a CompUSA for 7 years now.

The suckers shrink wrapped an old, used video card that was a different model in a new box and sold it to me as new for $399 and when I took it back the manager accused me of lying and trying to scam them. One of their employees said they were not surprised because they had a shrink wrap machine in the back before the manager came out to talk to me.

If you ever buy something that expensive in a store, open it up in front of the cashier before you leave the store to avoid this kind of thing!

How about this from compuserve. I priced a 3' RCA cable for $15.oo ?? They can be had for about 3 to 5 bucks. Even one of the assit. managers agreed that it was extremely over priced. He want me to call the district manager !! The assit manager said many of their product lines are simply over priced. That is why I do not go there anymore.
