Daughter needs a cell phone, Where to buy

My daughter and actually my son both want new cell phones and i am asking advice on where to buy from. They found them on ebay but it seems real dangerious to buy off of there after reading feedback and researching sellers.

There is a link for the one she wants i have maybe 2 days tops before she makes me buy it, I just have heard so many horror stories on here especially about camers and so on. So i am asking the people that i trusted to tell me where to get my last motherboard to give me advice on this purchase also since zzf worked so good on last one.

If, the children use the phone a lot, the small 720 Mah battery will not do.
The six hours talk time is complete nonsense. It will spend just as much time in the charger as on the air.

Look for a phone with at least a 1000 or expandable to 1300Mah battery.

I'm not sure what cell company you're with, but if it's available why not just renew your contract and have a phone that would have a warranty with it through your service provider? If something happens to a phone like that under warranty you send it back to motorola and you're just SOL for a month or 2 while it's gone. Generally a phone like that can't be insured through your provider either and insurance goes a long way with something like that. Buy one nice phone from the company and even when it's outdated you can still file insurance to upgrade it and it will be replaced with a *newer* comparable model.

we can get thru our provider yes but we can also buy insurance seperatly, the phone is appx 350. thru our provider and looking at prices on ebay is 99.-160. and retail from like newegg is 295 or so.

Is a weird plan but works for her for 40. a month she gets unlimited minutes thru a local company. no contract as she has had them for 3 years. contract was up long ago and so she has just went month by month

Are those ebay prices for used ?? Sound to good to be true.

Thats why i posted here frost. Such a large difference in prices and they say new in box. I figure sounds to good to be true almost why i posted here and asked.
