Thermaltake

I have purchased about six case fans from Thermaltake and I am less than pleased. Two of the fans LED's light malfunctioned and two others had their jumpers (speed control) break.

None of their fans had any directional indicators on them. I had to reinstall them because they there pushing air out and not in. Moreover, the jumpers are so flimsy that I broke two and have to purchase two more. No where is there any information that these jumpers are extremely delicate.

Furthermore, this company does not care one bit about customer service. In their contact us there is no phone support. I sent them four emails and never received a single reply.

As a builder of my own computers, fans are a very integral part of the machine.

Thermalcake, produces mediocre parts and lousy customer support.

I ordered a Thermaltake GPU heatsink and fan one time and it was pretty much junk.

Sorry you also had trouble with Thermalcake, Cornstalk. I am of the opinion that they sell mainly low end items. I will say one thing, they do give very good specs on the back of the box.

My experience with their products is either hot or cold. They make a bunch of really mediocre stuff, plus some genuine diamonds in the rough. Their fans are ok, but not my first choice for a quality fan. I prefer fans from Panaflo (Panasonic), Delta, Sanyo or Scythe myself, but then I don't really get into the bling bling fans with the leds either. I look for functionality first. But Thermaltake does make a really good heatsink in the Big Typhoon series, with performance right there with the rest of the best in air cooling. And I have bought their 3 speed fan controllers in the past (which are no longer made, unfortunately) and they have held up well over the years. But they have many other heatsinks they make that are mediocre at best also. So it's a bit of a crapshoot when you buy a new Thermaltake product before reading some reviews on it.

Seems very hit and miss. I've had FEW thermaltake products that I've been happy with, but MORE that I haven't been happy with.

Seems like no matter how "quiet" thermaltake claims their products to be, they're always louder than the competition.
