Where can we save via buying together?

I am new with online shopping and in need of advice. Is there an opportunity to save by uniting orders together and getting volume discount from a shop? Where are such resources?

Thanks for choosing RR, JS. The only discounting I know of is when you order the CPU, system board and memory together. If you are ordering a number of similar parts, you will have speak to a department head and ax for a discount. GL, and report back to us.

I've seen people doing that over at Anandtech, when I hung out there for a while. But even there, it was only on *real* popular stuff.

Most people aren't interested because once you get the money together, nobody wants to wait for enough people to sign up for a particular part to place the wholesale order. And it's super frustrating if you get almost there and one or two people drop off the list.
