acer aspire 5100-5022 laptop

Want to buy the acer aspire 5100-5022 laptop at walmart for $749. Anybody has this lappy and is it ok? Would like suggestions for other laptop in similar price range.

I just got one. They are nice, but the hard drive is partitioned in to two FAT32 sections. Other then that you can't beat it for the price.

Thanks for the info. Won't I be able to use NTFS and Will a non-technical person have a problem with the partitioning?

Click 'Start'
Click 'Run'
Type in "cmd"
Type in "convert x: /fs:ntfs" (x is the drive letter you want to convert. I'd say you need to do "C" and "D"

You will be prompted to restart if your C: needs converted.

I bought one of these computers yesterday and it really blows away my p4/2.0 gig Sotec and @ $748.00 + $70..00 for extended warranty was about half price of the Sotec I bought in 2002. Was up most of the night setting it up and playing on ther internet. Nice Computer.

I have not had to call so I do not know. Most of time I just google my problem or come here and ask. Resellerratings forums are very helpful with tech problems. If you need help feel free to post it here or PM me and I'll try my best to lend a hand.
