I have purchased thousands of dollars of items from Newegg and I never had a problem. I build systems for other people and have returned items in the past - never any issue. I will continue to purchase from Newegg. There customer service was never a problem. Long live Newegg!
I don't know IF you have used these guys lately, but there are tons of shipments of seconds, blems, open-box, etc and sold as NIB. Seems to have just happened in the last year. I won't touch them now.
