Exoticphone.com is the worst place to buy a phone from. who ever is telling that they are a happy with their service, I am 100% sure it is some1 from them trying to scam again. my english is very bad and i am not smart enough to understand all the points in the reviews above. I guess you have a confusion if they have a real adress. I hate them from all my heart but i will not lie-- they have a place at broadway. but its a small massy room. you will see some cell phone boxes on the floor and some poly bags on the wall. except that there is no sign of any stock of cell phones in their office. when i was visiting thier place, infront of me couple of times they send one guy to bring phones from a nearby store (after somebody come for a pickup) and the other person called that store so they give the guy the phones saying he will send the bill for it soon.

They said their name is JAY and BILL on the phone. but its their FAKE name as they all are fake persons. i guess 2 friends are running that business. they are from Bangladesh. I myself is from India ( i speak their same language as the part of inida i am from is just beside bangladeh and i know many many people from bangladesh ) . No one from Bangladesh have a name JAY or BILL... if you are shamed of your name or your background i think thats your biggest shame mr BILL and JAY. And all those reviews that are saying EXOTICPHONE IS THE BEST(?!?!?!)--- by any means they are also trying to prove mr JAY and BILL's greatness.

All of this users are registered and wrote the review at the same month of same year. (I cant see the exact date of registation otherwise it could prove same date also) all of them only made one comment and its for exoticphone and for mr BILL and JAY ofcourse :P

And the most interesting nick is ""terrychoda"" i dont know the exact meaning of terry but CHODA is a very common SLANG in BANGLA. CHODA means the word starting with 'F' and ending with 'CKER' . if you dont believe me ask any one from bangladesh or someone from India who speaks BANGLA. and to you mr TERRYCHODA--- if you come from a Customer Service background from a company with the highest Customer Satisication rating in the Wireless Industry -- dont use a SICK NICK like this in place like resellerrating where quite decent people read and write each others opinion.

i know TERRYCHODA you are one of the so Callled mr BILL or JAY (perfect nick for a perfect gentleman). you are running one of the best and respectable cell phone store online. people here might not know the meaning of CHODA but you know what it means. and if you wanna praise your stores with so many different nicks -its ok but dont try to make mr BILL and JAY so great.. its so childish.. this is USA and people here have so many things to do and no time to hear how great MR BILL and JAY are.

I bought a cell phone from them 3 months before. The phone was open box and it wasnt able to read any kind of micro sd card. for exchange i went to their pickup location. i asked them to change it to a new one. they said it wasnt in stock so they will fix the problem. they keep the phone with them and ask me to come back after a week. when i went back there they said the phone is fixed and gave it back to me. to make sure i tried infront of them with a micro sd card and it was the same ****. they said my card was defective. so i asked them to show me if it was working with a card from their store. they tried with another card and still it wasnt working. I was really pissed off by their lies. they knew it very well that the phone's cad slot wasnt working but first they want to return me the phone saying the problem was fixed and secondly they said my card was defective. When i asked for a new phone or a refund they said the 7 days from purcahse is over so they cant do any exchange or refund any more. after arguing for more than hours they agreed for a refund with a penalty of 15% for the restocking fee. They said it wasnt any major defect for a phone so they will not accept it as a defective item. so i had to be happy with the 85% of the real price.

Exoticphone.com Are they reliable?

I am a cellphone freak. Every new phone comes out I am one of the fewest persone to get it first. But I am very picky and I like my phone to be perfect. Exoticphone.com happens to be one of the online stores located close to my Manhattan apartment in New York. I purchaed from almost all the online stores in New York city. This time I went to purchase from Exoticphone.com. I bought Nokia N95 and paid close to $800 when it first came out. I was very much excited with this phone. Unfortunately, I dropped the phone and broke the LCD and was devasted. It is actually one of my most favorite phone of the ones I bought already. Then I decided to go back to Exoticphone.com to see if they can do something for me. And.....this is why I'm writing about Exoticphone.com...I was particularly pleased with their service. To repair the LCD, it costed $160. Exoticphone.com shared half of cost, $80, to share the loss with me. I was very please with their service and recommend other people to go to these guys.....thanks Jahid.

i was very pissed off with the service and lies of exoticphone and on the top someone from exoticphone is writing reviews for the store and to praise mr BILL and JAY acting as a customer. how come u know so much stuff about mr JAY or JAHID?

Two rather contradictory results for that:

Well, i do have experience purchasing from exoticphone.com. I ordered a Nokia N95 Deep Plum from them, everything was fine but the only problem that I had is with the shipping. I ordered for 2nd Day Air and it arrived after 5 business days and whenever I called them they said that it actually takes 24-48 hours for an Order to be processed. Then why the hell you guyz charged me for $35????? Anyways finally the package arrived and everything was fine inside. I'm pleased with the phone but not pleased with their shipping at all.

Rx-8 is banned because he shares the same IP as several fraudulent review attempts that have been submitted on - and removed from before activation - exoticphone's reviews.

Also, the glowing posts for this store on this thread originate from the same or similar NY / east.verizon.net host but the IP pool is too large to identify and/or match specific users as it is probably servicing a few hundred thousand connections, thus I have no conclusive proof to remove those posts at this time.
