Recovering money from Monarch Computer Systems
https://dklbweb.dekalbga.org/taxcommissioner/Display.asp?pin=3852176
The full address for Monarch Computer Systems is: 5242 Royal Woods Parkway, Unit 160, Tucker, Georgia 30303
Please note that this company is late on their property tax. The second half of the year payment was due on the 15th of November. Monarch appears to be in a cash flow crunch. If anyone has successfully sued in court and has not yet recovery any money, you may want to file a lien on what maybe their only asset, their corporate building.
Thanks for the heads up, Grimreaper112.

Only problem is,according to all I've read, they don't own the building, they rent it.Their only real assets is whatever inventory they have left.

Moreover, a tenant is never asset property tax by the county although they may have a second or third mortgage or more liabilities than assets. |

I was going by posts made by former employees and others in [H]ard Forum, and the fact that the record lists land and building value as 0.But with Monarch, nothing seems to be as it appears. But one thing is clear, the deadline was the 15th,and the record as of today shows they still owe over $44,000 to the county.God only knows what they owe to customers and creditors.I think all their indiscretions are about to catch up to them, and it won't be pretty! And it couldn't happen to a more deserving company.I just hope the customers don't end up as the losers in all of this.

Monarch Computers gone down hill!
I use to work for Monarch and it is true that there is a sign on the building stating "this property has been seized by the county tax commissioner".... It's sad and I feel for all the vendors (they owe over 2 million to just the vendors alone). As far as the customers they would charge there accounts and not allow their employees to give back the money that was owed to the customers, the credit card company just found out. Bottom line DON'T ORDER FROM MONARCH! They must be working from home now. They will take your money and not ship anything. Trust me I'm not an angry employee just disappointed and sorry to say I worked for them. Just a bunch of red necks who had money. They won't now! They never knew how to speak to anyone not even their employees and the turn around was terrible.

Thanks michaels. There is going to many losers except for those who tuned to RR and get wise. Mpay thanks for your input. I am going to be SHOCKED if this does not lead to criminal prosecution.

"recovering money" should only be an issue if you paid by cash or check. If you paid by credit card you are automatically protected by your credit card company. Simply call the customer service number on the back of your credit card to dispute a charge for merchandise not received or refunds not issued and your card company will give you your money back in nearly all cases. For this reason we always recommend paying by credit card only, no other method, for all online purchases.

I lucked out and got a refund just as the were going "belly up" ! My credit card Co. ( UBS ) suggested that I cancel that card and get a new one --- I did that!!!
It appears that Monarch kept my credit card # from My original purchase ( early March of 2006 ) and use it "very quickly" during a transaction in August WITH OUT MY APPROVAL! My approval came after the fact that they had already charged against it( about $940 ). So I went with the flow and it worked out. It took over 8 weeks to get a refund!
SO IF YOU STILL HAVE NOT CANCELED YOUR CREDIT CARD # YOU GAVE THEM---- DO SO "YESTERDAY" !!!!!!!!!!

CW, I am glad you got your money back. With all of these disputes and charge-backs I can not believe that Visa, MC, and American Express has not canceled their merchant agreement!!

For this reason we always recommend paying by credit card only, no other method, for all online purchases. | I paid $171.17 to Monarch by using My BofA debit card, Since Monarch sends an email confirmation of what one ordered BofA wants a certain number off It without this number BofA won't do diddly squat as It were(I don't know which number now as It's been a month since I called BofA) and the order was in late October(25th) for 3 atx tower pc cases that were supposed to be in stock, Of course I called later and found out they were on order from Taiwan and wouldn't be in for at least a week, So I cancelled the order after I was told that I'd get the money back in 30 days, Well the 30 has come and fled to who knows where. And no money has shown up yet, Oh and the 1-800-611-0875 number still works, fat lot of good It does though.
