I join today for the first time this forum. Unfortunately for me I am the victim of the INTERNET scam by the http://www.discounts-webstore.com. I purchase a LCD TV and the money gone , so I'd like to woning anybody not to use these web page to purchase anything. Also I am wondering how long is this web page going to be active , after they are doing such a crime ?????

YES, I DID. I AM JUST WONDERING HOW COME THIS WEB PAGE AFTER SO MANY COMPLAIN , IS STILL ACTIVE ? THAT'S RETICULES.THERE SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ALSO BY "WESTERN UNION ", BECAUSE THE WAY THEY SET-UP SO EASY SENDING MONEY IS NOT RIGHT. SOMEBODY IS RECEIVING THE MONEY, SO SOMEBODY IS SHOWING THE PERSONAL " ID", SO THEY SHOULD TAKE ALL INFORMATION FROM THE PERSON WHO IS TAKING THE MONEY, INCLUDING THE ADDRESS, THIS WAY IT WILL BE EASY TO TRACE THEM DOWN IN CASE OF SCAM. ALSO COSTUMERS SHOULD HAVE SOME INSURANCE FROM WESTERN UNION. IT IS TOO EASY FOR MANY SCAM COMPANY TO RECEIVE THE MONEY WITH OUT OF ANY RESPONSIBILITY. IN MY CASE THERE WAS A LADY NAME SHEILA COOPER, AT PAYOUT LOCATION ROME, VIA ALBERTO CADLOLO 23, ITALY. SO SOMEBODY CAME AT THE LOCAL WESTERN UNION TO PICK UP THE MONEY. I THINK THE INTERPOL SHOULD BE INVOLVE TO FIND OUT AND TRACE THIS PERSON.

MY PROPOSAL IS THAT ANYBODY WHO IS THE WITNESS OF THE DISCOUNT-STORE SHOULD DO SOMETHING TO GET AND RECOVER THEIR MONEY.

A general good rule is to NEVER buy anything through Western Union money transfer. If the seller won't accept a credit card, stay away!

I would just like to take this time to thank all off the people involved for this thread. I got my cash together and was about to contact Discounts-Webstore.com and the answer machine turned me away. I wanted to talk to someone about the PS3 they had advertised for $610. First i looked for the secure site symbol down at the bottom of the page (there was none). I went to the BBB website and there was no listing under that name. Then i did a search in google and found this thread, "Saved by the Bell". Thanks again. Looks like some old fasion torture is in order.
